It cant be so hard to just not push the target of 900 people in total, maybe just aim for the half of it and still try to improve Cyro

I'm surprised that, given the continuing problems with PvP, they just do away with the PvP aspect of the game completely. then they can focus completely on PvE where the Majority of players are. Then Cyrodiil could become a vast, truly Solo Player PvE environment. .full of potential, instead of the waste land it is now with hardly anyone there unless there's an event.

You dont realise how many people originally started that game because of the unique pvp.

Just dont spit into the face of the people who made this game great

They haven't even tried limiting heal stacking. So nobody can claim they're putting in much of an effort to fix what we already have. The statement that they're not even going to try and fix what we already have is flabbergasting.

Ah yes. Removing all dissenters and creating an echo chamber where no negative feedback about perceived bad decisions can exist. That sounds like a great way to have a healthy and thriving community!

Being new to the forum to be honest I am pretty shocked about how critics and asking questions are handled. I wonder if this is typical behavior for video game companies in general or if it's just typical for american companies.

Nobody is holding anyone hostage, if people are unhappy, and have lost trust, and can’t find good faith in anything related to the game, respectfully, why are they here?

Ever try to enjoy a hobby and you have that one friend sitting there complaining the whole time? Yeah, that’s how it sounds when the same thread bumpers are incessantly negative.

To say that criticism is under fire, misses the point entirely. There’s a difference between constructive criticism and destructive criticism.

Constructive criticism works hand-in-hand with a project to try to improve upon it while preserving the artistic vision that it is based upon, while destructive criticism is designed to destroy and rewrite products. Now take a step back and analyze the many threads we’ve been seeing.

Would you say that our community benefits from people who provide nothing but negativity in the form of destructive criticism?

Vengeance was a test, just not one about performance.

I’m of the opinion that they are testing Vengeance to see how much compromise we are willing to make, with each rollout compromising less and less to find where people are the least unhappy.

So part of what they are testing is how little they can get away with providing.

What you dont seem to understand with your statement is, the people coming here to the forums critising (even when you call it ''destructive'', because there is indeed nothing positive left with the path ZOS is choosing currently for the game) are all extremely deep involved in wanting the game they love to perform good.
I know i personally get upset to see my favorite game since 11 years, a game where i spent thousands of hours and thousands of euro to be let down massively.

We see ZOS ignoring everything in the PTS, dropping bad once in a lifetime events, not delivering promised stuff, lying to us and releasing unwell planned unbalanced systems wich split the playerbase and destroy the enjoyment of the game.
Due all that the whole games population suffered MASSIVELY.
There is simply nothing positve to say lately. I cant hype myself up for 9 months of developement wasted for SWIMMING mounts and i cant hype my self up for minimal ''transparency'' with blurred out charts wich are only about one of three ''tests''.

I personally just think what you call destructive, is simply realistic & the truth hurts for these who wanna be positive and of cause also want to see their favorite game perform good.
Thats another negative side effect happening lately. The community gets ripped apart.

I find it funny (and sad) the loudest outcry against vengeance is the inability to use earned sets, when for the majority of the time proc sets get lambasted for "playing the game for you" in normal Cyrodiil...

    Agree completely.

ZOS hasn't even tried limiting heal stacking in Cyrodiil. So how can they say they've even tried to fix normal live Cyrodiil?

Well if last nights PC NA population vs. vengeance population is any indication ZOS should just stop with everything vengeance right now, because virtually nobody will play vengeance if Grey Host is an option.

Last night prime time Grey Host was pop locked all three factions while vengeance had one bar every faction.

When given a choice people won't play vengeance. And if vengeance is mandated most of us will just leave ESO and, in my case, given how this has all gone down, I'll be very hesitant to spend money with ZOS ever again.
