This is day 3 of the Vengeance Campaign, and while days 1 and 2 were absolutely amazing in terms of performance, today has been a completely different experience. I decided to try a new character that I’ve never played before—my Arcanist, only level 10 on EP—and I’ve crashed about 10 times so far.
Each time I crash, I’m put back into a queue just to log in again. In over 10 years of playing this game, I’ve never seen this happen. Even in the last few months since upgrading my PC, I haven’t had a single crash. I usually sit comfortably at over 150 FPS and around 50 ping, even while streaming. I’m not seeing any spikes or unusual performance drops—it’s just crashing, and only on that specific character.

✭✭Actually, a lot of us who are currently not in the Vengeance campaign are having connection issues right now. Many people in my raid group are having trouble staying connected, and some of my friends have been crashed out of Tales of Tribute matches multiple times.
Whatever is happening is likely not a Vengeance issue.Best Argonian NA and I will fight anyone for it

Well thats good to know i ran a system check oh my PC everything is in the green and internet is still sitting 10gig upload and download speeds0 -

✭✭I crashed about that time also after a few bouts of lag, but I was in IA (and lost two threads since it happened at a boss fight). I also had a queue to get back in.

✭There's been ongoing internet outages for many games, websites, and online services today. Destiny 2, Runescape, Playstation, Cloudfare, Amazon, etc. So it's very possible it has nothing to do with ZOS.

I meant it's easy to say "DDoS attacks" when there are so performance issues but why would someone be interested in attacking the servers of a game which lost it's popularity withing a few years.Edited by xR3ACTORx on December 8, 2025 8:45AM1
