East Solstice Skyshards

Playing on PS/NA, for my account only the alt that earned the Western Skyshard Hunter achievement is unable to collect East Solstice skyshards.

I have checked several other alts, and they are able to collect East Solstice skyshards. I believe that all of these alts collected the West Solstice skyshards prior to Update 48 releasing on consoles.

If I translate Gina's message from Corpo to English, I read that the bug has been identified but either the fix is difficult to implement or the bug has very low priority, or both, so there is no date set for the fix and it's likely the bug is not even on the roadmap.

In the mean time my main character is broken, as my goal to collect each and every skill point with that character will not progress while this bug remains punishing those who are eager to play the game.

I should've looked here before making a bug report in-game. Oh well, I'm on PC/NA and I have this issue as well. I had all the skyshards from Western Solstice before Update 48. The achievement for Eastern Solstice Skyshards is empty but the map shows 18/18 and the skyshard I tried to collect in Sea and Sword Lodge was unavailable. The achievement is correct.

There's even more bugs on the zone map (in that list on the left side) than just this:
- "Delves" shows 3/6 for me, which is correct, but if you look at the detailed list, there are only 3 places listed. The new ones are just missing.
- The "striking locales" list shows the correct amount of places, but the new ones all don't have names but are all called "unknown location in East Solstice".

Are you sure? I didnt get skill points. Pre patch i stand at 36 Skillpoints availlable to spend with 570/579 skyshards (without east Solstice).
After patch it was still 36 skillpoints for use, but 597/597 skyshards.

Same problem here. It looks like I have collected all of them, but I don't have the achievement. My server is PC EU.

For the achievement, you can obtain skyshards on a different character. This bug on my account is only on one character.

still broke and not much of an ETA for a proper patch just next patch . so I've quit playing until fixed as its last thing I need to do.

Now that the holidays are over, I really hope it will be fixed soon. I know several people who are really interested in playing East Solstice but still wait until the skyshard problem is fixed.

This includes me. I will do nothing in Eastern Solstice on any character until the skyshard and skill point issue is FIXED. Not swept under the carpet, FIXED.

No, I will not go and get the skyshards on another character (that didn't have this issue), BECAUSE the problem is not only being wrongly credited with skyshards, but also being shorted the 3 skillpoints that I will not be able to earn *on that character* because of having been incorrectly credited with the skyshards that I've never touched.

They said on another post it doesn't need a patch, just maintenance. We'll see what tomorrow brings

I haven’t tried getting these skyshards knowing that they are bugged, but I did notice that the achievements do not indicate that I have collected any of them, yet I am not seeing the icons for them on the in game map.

The achievement isn't completed even with the bug, it just shows them done on the map and zone guide.

It is possible to collect them if you've already got all the Western Solstice ones tho. I was in the zone when the wall was breached and collected a few before logging off, then the rest still worked for me next time.

That might be a coincidence tho, no way of knowing for sure why it worked. But it does mean the bug isn't completely universal

Oh thank you. I will collect now from my two characters that couldn't! I had to go on with a toon that never been there to get the achievement.

I completed all the Solstice Skyshards on my alt as my main couldn’t access them. With today’s update, my main toon can now get them. However since I already had them gathered by my other toon (I got the achievement for Skyshards) I thought to simply buy it on the Crown store. Unfortunately it is not showing up - on any of my toons.

Just went and grabbed all on one of my toons PC-NA but 2 are showing still as uncollected even though I double checked and did get them.

Same issue. Collected all skyshards but 3 showing still as uncollected. Bug is still present.

Just in case... there was an update for skyshards addon 1 or 2 days ago. Maybe?
