Reveal event in January?

Will there be a sort of reveal event in January as usual to present the 2026 content pass and theme or how will that work? Since people are very iffy currently about the content pass model and value they probably will have to show what is planned?

I don't know if we'll get a full reveal like we used to (although I hope we will), but there should at least be some kind of a reveal in January.

They said one of the reasons for switching to season passes is so they don't have to stick to a fixed schedule. We know there's New Life, then the re-run Writhing Wall event, then the new Hearts Day festival (which will be in early February to line up with Valentines Day) so we might not get an announcement until after that.

We also don't know if the next season pass is going to cover the whole year. They said they want to switch to shorter seasons, so it might only be for 3-6 months, then we get a new announcement after that. (Especially if they want to shift to more temporary activities like the Writing Wall.)

So I think there will be an announcement early next year (before the end of February at the latest) but we shouldn't assume it will be the same format or on the same schedule as in previous years.

they have to show people something otherwise i doubt a lot will keep their eso+...it would also be pretty ridiculous if they tried to sell 2 season passes a year for the previous price of an expansion.

Exactly this. I renewed my ESO+ to get me through to early February, hoping they'll do a January reveal and tell us what's coming. I'm not going to keep renewing forever hoping for details.

As far as I'm concerned, there will be a reveal when there is a reveal. I'd like one in January so I can work the yearly top-up into my budget, but my sub runs from mid-summer to mid-summer, so reveals or the lack thereof won't affect that until several weeks/months after the fact.

Reveal of what? We'll see I guess. Seems like they're still working on ironing out major bugs with Solstice as it is. So either old content will remain as is or new content will be equally rushed and buggy.

I just hope I'm wrong about where things appear to be headed with ESO.
