Our gracious community is what makes ESO different from other MMO’s. Sometimes you see it in zone, twitch streams, here in the forums, or in dungeon pugs. Sure, there are some trolls out there, but for the most part… we are all part of this huge family.
Since 2019, we attempt to give the ESO community a little Christmas Spirit during the holidays by putting on a full production play right here in ESO. With more than 20 scene changes, a full cast, music, sound effects, this year we have the last story of the Christmas Carol Trilogy; Investigator Vale: An Entangled Carol. And you are all welcome to come! (Although seating is very limited)
"Locked in combat with her mortal enemy Terenus, the voice of the Brotherhood, plunged to his death over the Anvil Lighthouse. Absent for two years, Tamriel mourned the loss of their foremost consulting investigator. Vale, however, was still alive.
With no sense of purpose, she is encouraged by Dr. Timothy Cratchit to explore Ebenezer Scrooge’s unusual death. It is a dark and treacherous Christmas Eve, and Investigator Vale is a tormented woman. And now, the brilliant investigator must utilize her deductive skills to solve the crime.
The game has begun."
Vanquish is not a RP guild, we are an all-around social guild. This was a thought, to an idea, to making something work. Investigator Vale: An Entangled Carol is roughly a 2.25-hour play that will take you on the mysteries surrounding the death of Ebenezer Scrooge. Go with Vale and help her overcome her own personal demons as she gathers clues. Was Scrooge murdered? You’ll have to come see.
We are hosting 6 shows this year. IF you wish to see this live, either leave a comment with your in-game @ name and showtime of choice, or DM me directly. We will send you a DM here on the forums on how to join. This is on the PC/NA server. Currently, we have open seats on these days:

16BitForestCatâœâœâœâœâœI've never been able to make a live showing and doubt I will this year either, but I've always enjoyed watching every year on the livestreams and VOD's (the ones that don't have technical difficulties or camera operator mishaps, anyways lol....)! The one year the show couldn't go on, I was so worried about everyone till I reached out to Savina and got word back that nothing catastrophic had happened to stop the play, just life in general.
It's just not the winter holidays till I watch the annual ESO play! Very much looking forward to seeing Investigator Vale spring into action again for Year 2 of Play 3.

Thanks @16BitForestCat for the kind words! We did change our schedules around a little this year to attempt to accommodate both NA and EU with the 6+ hour time zone difference. Hopefully you can find something that works!

SavinaâœâœâœGreat first performance of the year on Saturday, congrats to the cast on their first show of the season! Everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves. We had several nice comments, I've listed a few below.
Anyone with a PC account can jump on the North American server and create a character in a matter of minutes to us to attend the performance. So we hope some of our EU friends will do just that!

âœâœâœâœâœI've seen the original Christmas Carol production by Vanquish, but in this show they have really surpassed themselves and created a truly wonderful in-game experience. The story features the brilliant Investigator Vale, who is trying to solve a mystery in Glenumbra, and it weaves in many characters from the Christmas Carol as well as the game, with plenty of fun Sherlockian references too, which were such a treat. The script is very clever, fun and engaging, but it's the actors that bring it to life, and all the people involved have done an amazing job with their voice acting, accents, singing, and last but not least, emote coordination with their characters. I was flabbergasted that they could perform their lines (and singing!) so seamlessly while also doing a series of perfectly timed emotes and movements. As a housing enthusiast, I also loved all the set rotations, the lighting, and how furnishings appeared and vanished in quick succession to 'pull' the audience inside the current scene. And the music and audio effects were just the cherry on top! It really feels like you are watching a show, and I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it yet. Thank you Vanquish, proud to be part of the guild, and Happy Holidays to everyone!

The incredible quality and attention to detail is truly wonderful. From the actors and costumes to the sets and "venue", the whole experience is unique and easily something they could justifiably charge for, but IT'S FREE!
