Is there a way to change / fix preferred language?

I assume this is region based? But every time I visit the website, log into my account, receive marketing etc. its in the wrong language - and i cant find any option in my account (for whatever reason) to set a fix / preferred language?

marketing emails i still get in a different language
every time i visit the website its in a different language and i have to change it (it probably checks location for that)...especially the website one becomes super tiring...1 -
