Grim Focus, Malacath's Fury still has base skill's red weapon glow aura, bug or intended?

So, I just purchased the Grim Focus skill style but I noticed that the weapon glow/aura is still the same base red color and the only animation change is to the firing of the Grim Focus proc. I'm hoping this is a bug because every other crown crate or crown store style has had a lot more changes to the skill and the Puncturing Strikes Honorfeather style changes the skill associated with it much more by comparison for the same cost.
If it's not a bug, this is a big letdown and I hope in the future you'd consider adjusting the aura of skills that have them, not just the activatable for skill styles.

danko355✭✭✭✭I was absolutely full of hope that this style would finally change that permanent red glow. Blue would have been so cool and so suitable for so many build/characters. But, knowing ZOS, I was also almost certain they’d be too lazy to touch it. And sure enough, they didn’t disappoint.1 -

If this is actually working as intended, I and probably others would like to submit a refund ticket while it’s still possible.2

Exactly. I bought this skill not to replace a bow shot with a snowball throwing, but to have a nice blue glow.3 -

Thanks for the video, I was expecting something more 'impactful' but the effect and the sound, along with the animation, seem less impactful than the original animation

Emeratis✭✭✭✭✭So, after a bit more poking around I also noticed that the arm glow applied by Biting Jabs morph of Honorfeather is recolored which further makes the red glow of Grim Focus even more perplexing given they are the same tier of crate reward/cost. Also of note, it also has more effects than the Puncturing Strikes, Ice Blue style which also confirms what I mentioned above that the crown store/crate styles typically have more flashy and unique effects, not just a skill recolor.
Can we please get some sort of statement on whether the Grim Focus red glow for the Malacath's Fury style is a bug or intended? It's really weird that of all the skill styles this one seems to offer less and miss the mark on what most players wanted/expected from it.0 -

The grim focus glow is the coconut.jpg of eso. No one knows why, but removing it breaks everything.0 -

A lot of us just really want to know if it's a bug, not a bug but given feedback will be fixed, or not a bug and will not be fixed so we can potentially get a refund or not purchase the skill if we haven't already
