After Update 48, using my Magical Explosion within my Destruction Staff changes camera angle?

I know there is V key on PC to switch between third and 1st person view, I play 1st person.
Unsure if this is a 'new feature' from them or an addon that has been updated and now is doing what it should.
it's a big distraction for me and I'm looking to turn it off.
Can anybody help me? What option or setting is causing this, I looked in the 'patches' and I can't see anything obvious.
