Vertical camera off-set

Have there been any updates from ZOS regarding player ability to adjust the vertical positions of 3rd person view??

Personally, I’d like to lower the camera for a more immersive RPG, storytelling experience. Plus, I’d get to see my mount more!

I’m aware PC players have access to this option, but consoles do not. Are there any addons for consoles that allows us to adjust our camera’s up and down?

Not a console player but I was so intrigued I had to look this up ... wth?! Why is there no vertical offset on consoles? That seems a weird choice. I don't know of any addon that would alter it.

I've looked at the LUA code and for Gamepad (which should be the same for consoles) the option for Vertical offset isn't being loaded into the options panel.

This could be because there is nothing in the underlying platform code to support the offset or it could just be an oversight. One way to check would be to run a script to see if the setting has a value.

If you put the below script into the chat window (and hit enter) it should output a number into the chat window if the underlying setting exists:
    /script d(GetSetting(SETTING_TYPE_CAMERA, CAMERA_SETTING_THIRD_PERSON_VERTICAL_OFFSET))

If that does return a number, it should be something like: 0.00000 then the setting is likely there, in which case you could set it using this:
    /script SetSetting(SETTING_TYPE_CAMERA, CAMERA_SETTING_THIRD_PERSON_VERTICAL_OFFSET, X)

Where X is a value of between -0.3 and 0.5 (this translates to a setting of -60 to 100)

Edit: Camera settings are stored server side. Just an FYI.
