Has anyone caught a Ghost Crayfish (lake). Have today caught a Blue Fish Medium...whatever that is...which has then disappeared. It does not appear in my Collected or Fillet items.
Perhaps as it's a ghost fish ZOS have spirited it away!

✭✭Yep. All done. The one that took the time for me was the Sea blue. Had all the others within 30 mins. Took 2 hours for that last one.

Thanks for getting back so quickly & encouraged that it is possible...just have to rely on some better rng...been fishing for couple of hours now and not started fowl yet lol1 -

I usually clear a zone in 45mins or less, using the CP, Sharp's trinket and Arateum Food - but that last blue just wouldn't come to the point I was wondering myself if there was a bug - but no just a nasty RNG.PC EU

I'm having a hard time this round and I was also curious if the fish were bugged like the lead I killed the boss 70 times for.

The Fishing Map add on worked for me on PS/NA to find fishing spots and get the Eastern Solstice Master Angler with a guild mate a few days ago.0 -

✭✭I've found that leaving a zone for 5 minutes or so then coming back increases the RNG. Or just go fish there when you first log in for each day. I didn't believe it until I saw a post about it and I can confirm it does work. I've done it so many times now. Not sure "why" it works though, but it does.5 -

All the river fishing resides in the NE quadrant of Eastern Solstice.

But also, during the process I had accidentally wandered into Western Solstice without realizing it so some of my time was completely wasted. But in the end, I finally got everything.2 -

✭✭✭✭I had even gotten to the point where I was about to quit and wait for another event where the rare fish would be curated again because it seemed the RND was so bad. FlameDark✭✭✭✭The crayfish are on strike across Tamriel! Crayfish are friends, not food! I've been fishing in Vvardenfell for 4 hours just trying to get the stupid Shalk-Brother Crayfish! It's not appearing for me :'(
But seriously, it's all just RNG lol if it sucks enough, you might think your game is broken, but it's not. You just have to keep trying and eventually it'll pop for you. Make sure to use the Artaeum Pickled Fish Bowl and all fishing green skill tree perks to try to increase your chances as much as possible. Get a friend to come with to help and it will make it go even faster.
Just think of all the perfect roe you'll get with every failed catch. That's what keeps me going

ellmarie✭✭✭✭Ugg. Thanks Elvenheart and FlamDark. Yep, I'm definitely not alone it seems! Fishing is supposed to be relaxing for me! And it actually was all up until Eastern Solstice. There aren't many river fishing nodes either, which makes it even harder. I'm all perked out with all the fishing requirements. But it's just not supposed to take this long. eeeesh
Edit. Just after typing this, I freakin finally got it! See, I need to complain and get it out. lol Bout time! But no perfect roe in all that fish!
