Has anybody found a single restoration staff book?
I have found like 4-5 books for every skill in the game except restoration staff. I have not found a single resto staff book, nor has anybody I talked to. Has anyone found any restoration staff books? Are they just missing?

There are books. Like if you read books from bookshelves or on tables or whatever. Some of them increase your skill in an ability. Like they might increase your class skills, or your dual wield skill, or your tailoring skill or whatever.

Click on bookcases and small bookshelves to "read" the books. Then you will also at times get a skill levelup in one of your attack or weapon skills.What are these books? Can not say I ever heard of them, what do they do?
And to the OP, I seem to remember getting resto staff bookcase levelups on different characters that carry the resto staff, but I can't remember what book it was that showed up. I know the books are random and change every now and then, even from the same bookshelf though, so keep trying.

Mishoniko✭✭✭No resto staff book level-ups here, though I have never equipped one. I have 10 in destro staff and have never equipped a destro staff though. Go figure.0 -

Sallakat✭✭✭I don't think it has anything to do with what you have equipped what level you gonna get. I have gotten duel wield, two handed and sword and shield in some books and I don't have any of those equipped on either of my toons that I play with.
I seriously can't remember if I have gotten resto levels from any books or just by using it.Rebuilt - Aldmeri Dominion

Do I understand the last comment correctly: Even if you have read all books in the room once, you might later have new books in there? The new books might award skill points?

I've came across books that didn't give up a skill point at first but gave it up later after discovering another book (i.e. finding part 2 of a "story/tale" then finding part 1 and going back and re-reading part 2 again)....hope that made sense.
Also I've had two books, so far (I'm sure I read in regular level content), that didn't give up a point then it did when I re-read it after hitting Veteran content.Edited by Gwarok on May 16, 2014 8:14AM"Strive for balance of all things.
