Issue after opening another window

I play in windowed(fullscreen) display mode, and sometimes I open my web browser while playing the game. Starting today, every time I switch from the game window to the web browser window and then back to the game window, my character starts to crouch and the last opened menu is activated, as if I had pressed the Ctrl button and the Alt button. This has never happened before. Has anyone had a similar problem and found a solution?

Same happens to me! Also know it's happening to some of my other guild mates, so you're not the only one.

Hmm, interesting. I also play in windowed fullscreen display mode and pretty much always have my web browser, Discord, etc. open while playing, and I never have this issue, however I use 2 monitors and keep ESO on one monitor and everything else on the other monitor, and to switch between windows I just mouse over to the other monitor and click on my browser window (or Discord, or whatever). So maybe it's related to the keyboard shortcut to swap windows.

Discord was causing the issue for some reason. I closed it and the problem disappeared. I just don't know why it started, I've had it running in the background for years.

What button is sneak set to?

I just posted a similar issue. My char goes into sneak and out of it, when I switch windows with ALT+TAB. It does not open the last menu, though.

In the other thread we found out that my issue is caused by the new discord overlay. Turning it off cures the issue.

I had the same problem and it completely disappeared when I turned Discord in game overlay off. I guess they updated discord and something broke.

As a borderless window enthusiast I had to check but don't seem to deal with the same issue. PC EU.
Works fine on both Live and PTS. But I know of ESO and other games not doing to well with overlays such as Nvidias, discords or even the xbox game overlay. The last one can be turned off in your pc's settings.

I think it might help if you could add some more data to the post?
What platform are you on? What browser are you trying to tab into? Do you use discord as a standalone application or as a browser extension?

All I had to do to make the bug occur was press the windows key on the keyboard and then click on the game window. I'm on PC Steam, EU server, and I'm using discord as a standalone application.

Discord is causing the issue. It's nothing to do with ESO. There is a problem with Discord's new overlay

can confirm. turning discord completely off fixed the issue for me.

I contacted with Discord support and they send me link to testing version of the program. On this new version everything seems works good. Mayby they update standalone version soon.
