Is there a way to keep the Writhing Fortress?

This has probably been said, but I think the writhing fortress should become a staple activity, or something you can queue for, like a PvE Bgs. I don't think it should be removed. It's fresh air for an activity, but would there be some way to add in a sense of you can actually fail?

I undersrand that people like winning, I do, but the danger that you lose would be better in the sense that it would drive players to try harder. And by keeping it around, newer players after the event will be able to experience that which had happened during this time. It just seems like a waste of time and effort to have the writhing fortress for a small time frame, only for it to be removed.

You could make it a weekend activity, to add in an air of semi exclusivity. So it's not active all the time. Again, just feels.like a waste of a.perfectly good thing to remove after one week.

Maybe they can bring it back in the weekend with rotating rewards, like skill styles, scribing thingies, pet/mount or outfit fragments.

Once the bugs are worked out, that would be a good idea IMO. Without something like rotating rewards for limited time periods, after a little while you're not going to get enough players interested in doing it for you to be able to actually complete it, but if there's an incentive to run it within a limited window you will.

I disagree on implementation, both proposed and current ones (it should be a group instance thing akin to a trial, not a PD which can be joined whenever and people would miss out on phases of it).

But I see no point in it being a "one time only" thing. It's part of the story, why the heck it should be removed, especially when it's nothing new - all the mechanics are already in the game in dungeons and arenas, there's nothing new. One thing as it would inevitably become abandoned and only rare new players would interact with it, it should be nerfed to the ground for that matter down the line. And I definitely don't want it to return on a limited time basis with new rewards, there's nothing to reward for realistically and participation trophies are getting old in this game.

Maybe turn it into a dungeon? So you can queue for it, or make a party and do it in a group of 4. Or maybe even a mini-trial, for up to 12?
    Favourite NPC: Wine-For-All
Mostly PC-EU , with a lonely little guy on NA.

A 12 person dungeon would be nice, but i takes away the experience to just hop into a massive fight. I think this zone is a cool experience and success, i hope we can see more events like this.

I think it's really weird that they are removing the only unique piece of content we got during this event. But I am not sure if it would work well without hordes of players. Without rebalancing, it would be another bastion nymic.

Yep. If it wasn't dramatically re-worked or tweaked, it'd be dead content in a month. That is unless it was given its own unique dungeon finder queue that would fill with random people until it hit critical mass.

Could be a once a weekend activity set for a specific time each week, and an in-game timer to notify players in advance.

What's the point in doing this (long) dungeon multiple times, I wonder ?

Honestly didn't look too much into the lore, but given it's a subsection of Coldharbor (loading screen tooltip), I don't think it's like we're completely nuking the place, could mean it comes back every now and then. Hopefully some dedicated weekends/weeks.

Still haven't experienced it though, each time I've entered it's been bugged...

Like the Dolmens that keep coming back even after we thwarted the planemeld the first time, I could see this place opening up every now and then when Molag Bal decides to power the place up again for whatever reason.

If nothing else, the Spire has really great style and they obviously put a lot of work into it. It'd make a grand player home!
