Material survey idea

Hey everyone I just finished harvesting 700-800 surveys and got reminded of an idea someone brought up a while ago. The idea is when you have lets say 20 greenshade ore surveys, instead of collecting the 6 nodes then running away and returning 20 times give us all 20 surveys worth in the first 6 nodes. It would be a nice quality of life feature in my opinion.

A possible easier (and more profitable) option to implement this would be to add a survey assistant to the game.

It would work similar to the decon assistant, you add the surveys to the window and they would convert the surveys to mats based on the same rules as looting them yourself (eg champion perks).

It would be in-line with their pay for convenience business model.

Or you could not wait until you have 20 of them to do them.

    This is an awesome idea.

although i like the idea of an assistant to feed them to (but if they had so much trouble getting our own champion points to work on our own characters, how long would it take to get it working on an npc correctly >.>)... but my own personal solution was to stop doing crafting dailies

I don't like the NPC idea. We need more reasons to go out into all the zones not less.

The other idea I'm not sure would work. If you are doing an alchemy writ and don't like what you are about to harvest you can ride or run away come back and see if something better rendered up. So they spawn not when you get in zone but when you get close to the survey.
They would need to be reworked for the game to recognize more than one and I'm not sure how simple that would be. They are kind of like treasure chests you don't know what's in them until you open them.
and then the parrot said, "must be the water mines green too."

    Few comments.

I didn't say the assistant was a good idea, but a possible idea.

If you do a lot of writs consistently, the survey collection grows very quickly.

It is far more time efficient to collect at least 5 at a time.

While the game's motto is play your way, the truth of the matter is the FOMO pressure from the frequent / often overlapping events and activities like daily endeavors, pledges, etc., there isn't much free time to go collect the surveys.

Also, if you don't have ESO+, collecting the surveys will boggle down your inventory very quickly.

I'd sooner do 20 surveys in one or two locations than 20 surveys across a dozen or more locations.

[Edit] That being said. I think the term "Quality of Life" is a bit of an exaggeration. Stackable surveys was a QOL change. Removing the work requirement is just trying to get more for doing less.

I Googled whether you can actually do them before having 20 of them and you can't. It's a known fact apparently.
