East Solstice Skyshards

It looks like I've collected all of them. Without finding a single one. Or gaining any Skillpoints!

Only noticed because I couldn't find one in a new delve until I saw someone else collect it, but I got there and it wouldn't let me do anything

EDIT: I restarted next to a skyshard and when I logged back in it appeared live but quickly faded like I'd just collected it. Still says I'm at 18/18 and complete when you look at the map and zone guide but the achievement isn't done.

Exactly the same for me, PS5 EU. And the odd thing is that, while I was standing next to that skyshard I'm sure I couldn't have collected yet, another player arrived who did manage to collect it.

Having the same issue on PSNA. Was questing with a friend and he was able to collect them. Frustrating not to be able to complete the achievement.

We wanted to give everyone a quick update. We’re actively investigating this issue right now.

A couple of questions that will help us track it down:
- Is anyone not on one of the PlayStation realms experiencing this?
- Did you complete all Western Skyshards before Update 48 launched?

Same problem for PC-EU, PC-NA, XB-EU, XB-NA. Gathered all skyshards before U48.

There's one lessons to learn from all those bugs this year (including daily quests and dig sites on the locked side of the map apprearing, a set station on the other side randomly appearing as discovered, and lots more): Please never release one zone split in two halves again.

Same on PC/NA. I have 18/18 already. I completed all the western skyshards before the update.

PS EU and collected all the Western Solstice skyshards before the update on the affected character.

Hi everyone, we’d like to provide an update on this issue.

Currently, any character who had collected all skyshards in Western Solstice before Update 48 launched is not able to collect skyshards in Eastern Solstice (for the servers that currently have access). We are actively working on a fix that we’ll roll out during a future maintenance, which will allow you to properly collect skyshards in Eastern Solstice. We’ll let you know when we have a date for this fix being published.

Please note this issue will be present for any server that completes Phase 3 of the Writhing Wall event until the fix goes out, but only characters who collected all skyshards in Western Solstice before Update 48 launched will be affected.

I had another go on my PC account. On PS it looked like they only came up as completed on relog so I collected a few on PC straight away after getting through the wall and they worked ok, even tho I had all the Western ones again. I still have a few to go so we'll see what happens next time I log in.

The other difference is I completed the "Crossing The Wall" quest on PS before trying to collect any, but only just started it on PC. Maybe that has nothing to do with it but it's something to consider!

And please fix the number of possible skyshards in total. Game says 597, but it is 579, east Solstice included. Thx.

Hmmm, 597 - 579 = 18 being the number in Solstice. Sounds like they are being counted twice.

Here is a workaround at Lest worked for me: you just need to relic to a different character not the same one you already collected skyshards with. I assume you need a char wich never collected any sky shards in solstice . Than I can collect the skyshards . Enjoy

Does that allow the character that has all the western skyshards to collect the eastern ones?

No, that'll only allow you to get the achievement to pop.

There is no way to have that character get the skill points from the skyshards until the incremental that fixes the issue, so that will take at least a week or two.

I couldn’t collect the Eastern Skyshards on my main so I did it on another toon (collected all Skyshards in Solstice). But I didn’t get notification to say they are all collected nor did I see the Skyshards for Solstice in the Crown store (I wanted to buy that for my sore toons).

Hi, every of my chars who have collected all skyshards on the western part are suffering from this Bug.

Easy enough to imagine. It's two halves of the same zone, and things that happened on one half are bleeding over to the other half. Hopefully they never do this again.

I have a silly idea... it requires two things (actually 3, but 1 is already present in the problem)

If the player has completed the Eastern Solstice quest line and broken the wall, assume they would have collected all the sky shards if they could, and credit that character with that number of sky shards.

If, at some point, it becomes possible for me to collect the sky shards, I can guarantee I will, even if I have no use for them.

The third item, having collected all the Western Solstice Sky Shards that triggered the issue, would indicate that we would get the rest in any case.

I too have the Eastern Solstice skyshards completed however I haven't done then them. Was working on Solstice on my warden healer for skill pts and went uh oh. And I'm on XBOX NA on this account.

I did check my Achievements - I got all both the West and Eastern Solstice Skyshards.
