Anyone managed to complete event quest?

This is the Support The Fellowship quest, not Crossing The Wall which progressed fine.
It told me to go to the soul spire and I did, I was in first wave that completed the fortress. I get to the end and nothing happens, the quest doesn't progress and there doesn't seem to be anything to do there. I'm guessing only the first person through got to see it?
I leave and it just tells me to enter the portal, then back to the soul spire. The whole place is empty now, going back to the end just leaves you stuck because the portal you took out first time has gone and there isn't a grapple point in reach.
I've had this stupid quest stuck in my quest log for a month and I HATE unfinished quests hanging about (that's why I've done Cadwell's Gold on a lot of of my characters). How do I get rid of it??

✭✭Yep, same here. Completed on main, but thought would go in on alt.
Nothing here. NOTHING. No adds, no big bad, no way to complete the quest.
(Did manage to get s portal back but only because the writing came up on my screen - the visual representation was not even there.)
