Getting pounded and trying to get inside. Tap A. See A button press animation. Wait a sec. Nothing. Tap A. See button press animation. Wait a sec. Nothing. Tap A twice. Go inside; Go back outside immediately with not chance to stop it.
The entire time I am healing, shielding, blocking, dodge rolling, and trying to stay alive long enough when I am not standing there doing nothing for a full half-second while I wait to see if my button press to go inside the door actually worked.
After the forced pop back outside, the frustration just killed my survival willpower. Sure, I kept up trying to stay alive long enough to try again, but I knew I did not have it in me after that.
Something similar just happened to me as I was typing this. At least I could death spawn across the map. But, just, why?!?!?!
At least update the code so that a character is no oriented facing the door from the inside so that a double tap that finally gets thru does make me go back outside.
