Keep doors, OMG!

Getting pounded and trying to get inside. Tap A. See A button press animation. Wait a sec. Nothing. Tap A. See button press animation. Wait a sec. Nothing. Tap A twice. Go inside; Go back outside immediately with not chance to stop it.

The entire time I am healing, shielding, blocking, dodge rolling, and trying to stay alive long enough when I am not standing there doing nothing for a full half-second while I wait to see if my button press to go inside the door actually worked.

After the forced pop back outside, the frustration just killed my survival willpower. Sure, I kept up trying to stay alive long enough to try again, but I knew I did not have it in me after that.

Something similar just happened to me as I was typing this. At least I could death spawn across the map. But, just, why?!?!?!

At least update the code so that a character is no oriented facing the door from the inside so that a double tap that finally gets thru does make me go back outside.

    I don't think it has anything to do with character orientation, but more to do with the following:
    1. The interaction between the hitboxes of the characters and the doors and how this interacts with the ways the keep doors are designed in Cyrodiil specifically.
    2. The latency of players to the servers (or just ping in general) where packets get sent to the servers all at once (due a spike somewhere along the route) and the order gets mixed up or the inputs get played back instantly.

    Either way it's frustrating but I don't see them fixing it anytime soon since it would require a lot of redesigning/recoding of all of the keep doors in every cyrodiil keep as well as addressing the related performance issues (4-5 years since the "year of performance" and the game is still in it's current laggy state), both of which are much bigger jobs than simple numbers changes for balancing where we aren't even seeing these (simple numbers tweaks balance changes) being done now.

    It's an unbelievably simple solution. Like, single-line-of-code solution. It could be written, tested, committed, reviewed, and merged in a matter of minutes.
