Maintenance for the week of October 27:
• [COMPLETE] ESO Store and Account System for maintenance – October 30, 9:00AM EDT (13:00 UTC) - 6:00PM EDT (22:00 UTC)
What is with the DC domination on all the campaigns?
On PCEU, DC is in third place in the Gray Host campaign this month, with EP in first place by a very large margin and AD in second place.
On PCNA, DC is in second place in the Gray Host campaign this month, with EP in first place and AD in third place.
Perhaps you meant to type EP instead of DC? Or perhaps you're looking at the scoring for your home campaign and not for Gray Host? The only way I can see the scoring for other campaigns besides Gray Host is to queue for them, select Scoring while I'm in the campaign-- which defaults to my home campaign (Gray Host)-- and select the Scoring for Local Campaign.
Right now DC is indeed in first place in the Blackreach campaign on PCNA, by a very large margin. But that is definitely not the case in the Gray Host campaign.
A symptom of a small PvP population and the introduction of Battlegrounds.
People that like ESO's PvP combat now have an easy way to experience it without needing to ride for 2 minutes for every fight, with an MMR that at least tries to filter players based on combat effectiveness so you don't get dumpstered as often, even if you do, getting back into the fight is quick.
Cyrodiil PvP is another beast altogether, as logistics plays an even greater role. Ball-groups, guild hours, social engineering to bring promising players to your faction, and of course, being able to swap to the winning team. Over time one side is going to be chosen to be the "right faction" to play on, given past history of victories. Players may swap to or create characters for that faction, and when its time for poplock, they trickle down into these other campaigns, moreso than other factions, bringing about general dominance across multiple campaigns.
They may even stay up later to nightcap if they weren't able to get into the campaign early, or they enjoy such "espionage" as taking over the map when players are asleep.
It takes players stubborn, unaware of, devoted to another faction, desiring a challenge, or cognizant of the problem, to create counterforce groups in the opposing factions.
Usually as underdogs because Cyrodiil is designed around tri-faction fights at full strength, giving keep and scroll bonuses to the "leading faction", tipping the scales to allow a single faction to potentially gain an edge when pushing against two warfronts before the opposing factions collapse onto their overextended keeps.
But that only serves to address poplock periods of time, getting back on only to see your map got nightcapped, those bonuses are just an additional hurdle to surmount.
It's a lot, so the easiest solution for most players is just: join the winning team. There's no benefit to playing the underdog (unless you're stubborn). You may even quite literally get less AP, fewer rewards, and a less exciting PvP experience given your faction bled good players whom are now making it more difficult to secure kills and whatnot. And again, if you're just looking for spontaneous combat... BG's.
PS NA player here. The GH campaign currently is the first time DC has been in first place in a while. Last few months were just AD and EP holding the map hostage 24/7
By dint of having reduced the value of AP (by giving the rank of grand marshal to everyone, between double AP, triple AP, AP scrolls, events, etc.), while the lowpop bonus was the only thing that still allowed players to come/stay in the losing factions, now people don't even come anymore...
Cyrodiil 2025 is one faction per server. Bravo ZOS.

My best guess is that the OP was looking at the scoring for their home campaign and didn't realize that they need to select "Local Campaign" in the dropdown filter at the top of the Scoring display, because it isn't immediately obvious at first glance that you need to do that. I mean, if you queue for one of the other campaigns instead of for your home campaign, and then look at the Scoring while in that other campaign, you would kind of expect that the displayed Scoring would be for the local campaign, wouldn't you? Well, I would, anyway. The fact that you need to manually change it from your home campaign to the local campaign seems kind of odd.
and of course, being able to swap to the winning team. Over time one side is going to be chosen to be the "right faction" to play on, given past history of victories.
and the crux of the issue with most PVPers - you don't swap sides to winning team. Literally why pvp is boring, and everything sucks.
There's no point to any objective in PVP here; except P V P - so scores of sad losers changing to winning team = boring campaign.
wait people play on blackreach? honestly though i think usually one faction dominating the map is a sign of low pop. use to only really see that in br, gh used to have high enough pop that you wouldn't see that happen often and when it did happen it wouldn't last and it wasnt long before the other factions regained keeps. i play on na and the map has been deader than ever, itll be prime time and only one faction is locked. haven't had to sit in a queue for weeks, just instantly get in.
Also at this point with such low pop it doesnt help or make sense to have faction locks.
