Furnishing duplication

I was thinking about replacing the fireplace in one of my houses. The new fireplace wasn't good for me, so I spammed the option to revert.
But here's the thing. I don't know if I accidentally placed/overlaid two Solitude fireplaces at the time, or if something duplicated it.

✭✭✭✭I thought I had done the same but with a different furnishing. I thought I had inadvertantly duped it. I experimented with a few different furnishings with mixed results to have data to report. It drove me a bit crazy at first until I figured it out.
Turns out that whenever I undid a placement/removal, it pulled an identical item from my Vault instead of from the bank/inventory slot of which the original had been placed. So it only appeared to be generating duplicates it actually wasn't.Edited by DenverRalphy on October 22, 2025 3:25AM3 -
k5k✭I've had the same thing happen, reported it twice with details of which furnishings, and never heard back, not even a confirmation that they'd received the report. When I've reported other things I've alway heard back.
It's happend a few more times since, usually doing daily endeavours fast. I don't even bother reporting it now, even though it's extremely exploitative, as it seems they just don't care.
For at least some of the furnishings I know it definitely didn't pull them from the vault, as I only had one of them before the duplication glitch.Edited by k5k on October 27, 2025 6:58AM1 -

Wait, are you saying that I could accidentally duplicate the Void-Crystal Anomaly furnishing if I'm not careful? Oh, the horror, as I've already got more than enough of it, and keep finding the lead for it again and again whether I want to or not! ;DI've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!0 -

I tested a lot of furnishings and I don't think any from antiquities or crown store ones had the issue, but newer ones seemed more likely maybe..0
