Libs out of date

LibMapPins and LibAddonMenu 2.0 both out of date on console, im sure this is whats casuing issues with another one of my addons love to see thse get updated

Even that the addons say they are out-of-date doesn't mean they aren't working.

Libraries are frameworks for other addons so it's unlikely they are your problem. Usually it's the addon that uses a library should get fixed. If library is updated and the addon isn't and stops working then the addon creator should implement a fix, not the lib creator.

I can't say about consoles but libmappins and libaddonmenu 2 are working and have been working fine for years on PC and both have been updated in the past 6 months. I would suggest checking the comment sections for both addons if you can see anything related to your problem.

And if you go there to ask for a help you should get a bit more detailed on what isn't working exactly and why you think it's not working, otherwise they can't help you.

The general strokes and the conclusion of your comment are correct. The out of date label is completely useless and means nothing, and the libs are most likely fine.

Buuut there's one thing to note. LibAddonMenu does not really support console. The 'support' is completely based on libHarvenAddonSettings, it's not really console support. None of the code of LAM is used on console, so it working fine on PC is no indication of how it'll work on console. I'm not saying LAM is the problem (since the console LAM just a wrapper it probably isn't) but just that it's not doing what you think it is on console.

afaik: LAM for console does only currently provide mapping functionality to port some of the settings menu code from LibAddonMenu automatically to LibHarvensAddonSettings.

Means if any addon was ported from PC to console but the settings menu wasn't ported manually with it to use LibHarvensSettingsMenu it should just load with LibAddonMenu and then port e.g. the checkbox setting or a dropdown over to the one of LibHarvensAddonSettings for you.

Whatever your provlems with any addons on console are, I would not consider "out of date" to be an issue. It never really was a problem for PC addons as explained above.
You should find out which addons of you, on console, got problems and report these then to the addon authors (if they are on www.esoui.com I'd start there; else try the official forums -> AddOns here on elderscrollsonline.com).
