Event quest bug - Midconghor Mirmal is in the wrong place for the quest

The quest indicates the area where you need to talk to this NPC, but he is not there; he is in a different location, which is why he does not provide a new dialogue. There is an additional objective in the quest—to talk to Midkongor Mirmal at the top of Meridia's lens, but he is still standing in the same place, and attempting to talk to him leads to the old dialogue. I understand that you can do without this additional dialogue, but it's disappointing when you want to complete the quest by listening to additional dialogues, and you can't do it because of a bug.

I wanted to add to this as I've had this same issue. I wondered if it could be related to the Meridian Lens area sometimes changing during Phase 1 of the Writhing Wall event, as sometimes I see the basic version of the lens archway without ornaments and sometimes I get the glowing version. However, Mirmal hasn't been up there regardless of the Lens status. I play on PC/EU.

I finished the quest up to it's "end" and deleted to do it again, and this issue persisted on a second and third try. Now I've stopped it at this stage to see if he somehow magics himself up there, but no luck so far. I even tried seeing if the event quest from Skordo messes up with it and deleted that but it did not have an effect.

edit: I use a Steam installation of the game.

Edit number 2 on the 30th of Oct: Mirmal has the extra dialogue after Phase 2 started. Although he has not moved from his position. So it seems crisis averted!

Turns out his dialogue changes only after the Meridian Lens is fully charged - so after Phase One (1) is complete. He still doesn't move up to where he should be, but at least the dialogue changes!

My last response was regarding the Xbox version.

I am playing on PC as well and just ran into the exact same issue in phase (3). I abandoned the quest to see if that helps. Just in case there’s a few folks behind on the quests like I am. I’ll report back if this helped or not.

Edit to add - That didn't work. Unsure if it'll work later on for others, but since the event is still active and I want to complete the dungeon before it ends, I'm skipping that part since that particular part is optional and I know what he says anyway due to playing on xbox too.
