Just let my banker do FULL BANKING then I can go to a lonely corner or my home and do it.

I totally respect folks' right to RP and have their summons up and all that but IT IS TOO MANY - drives me around the twist every time I try to hurry and do my guild sales - and why should my experience be continually 2nd to people who need to have all their flapping summons up all the time? WHY CAN'T THEY JUST RUDDY LAND!?

Owls, Crows, Eagles, and other flying Summons - I have all the settings set in game suppress blah blah - but every time I try to bank all I hear is FLAP FLAP FLAP FLAP FLAP and then with the matriarch it's in front of my eyes several times a second.

PLEASE SEND HELP because I stg :( I literally avoid dealing with my guild sales because of it.

    Where was it... I think:
Settings > Gameplay > Limit Followers in Towns (or something like that)

That hides other players' pets when you are near craft tables or banks. That came with... High Isle, I believe?

I wish the flying pets would land when you stop moving. I got the raven pet with a chapter pre-order (Gold Road possibly?) and if never occurred to me if wouldn't move like bird pets in other games which fly beside you then land when you stop.

I like it but rarely use it because the constant flapping is annoying and it's immersion breaking to have it hovering beside me when a real bird wouldn't do that.

Its very, very limited though. It hides them when the owner is using, or standing right beside a crafting table or bank, but if they're standing 1 step away their minions will show and those can be right on top of the bank or crafting station. It's better than nothing, but not by much.

I join OP more and more in wishing my own banker could do full banking so I could do it at home. I already bypass the need for normal merchants by using repair kits. My reasoning is that town hubs are simply too darn irritating. The OP mentions one significant reason. My primary problem though is obtrusive graphics like mounts that explode when summoned, duels in the middle of a crafting area, players spamming skills (especially fugly green ones). The move toward neon cartoon graphics and animations makes me wish I could just select a private instance in which to play. But yes, at least let my banker do full service banking.

I have flying pets, so I obviously like them - that said, I do like the idea of having them land when you're idle or using benches/banks/merchants etc.

Have to admit, I would have purchased the cute owl pet if the idea of it never, ever resting wasn't so horrifying to me.

I like and use them - Just not in banks or other town areas where people need to do things.

I have one keybind that unsummons all pets.

I too was gonna buy it, but it never lands. :( If they landed, I'd be PERFECTLY HAPPY <3

    It's not the summons/pets - it's the auditory/visual distraction from which you can't you can't get away.

Yes and the banner effects also D: Beam can't beam without a target - so duels yes, shouldn't be within x meters of any NPC.

I would take ANY solution tbh.

This. There are some wonderful bird non-combat pets in the game, but I just can’t use them because they don’t land. When I’m not moving they just stay there slapping their wings pathetically and unnaturally hovering in place and it’s so immersion breaking. It keeps me from buying more bird pets when they come out and it’s very disappointing. 😟

Use a less popular area to do banking. I personally recommend Velyn Harbor because it is quest locked so there is usually not many people there. It won't eliminate the problem but it will lessen it.

If the people would RP, they'd put their summons and pets away before entering towns or even worse buildings. Especially the combat pets like Daedra or the Warden's bear.
I always send my bear(s) away before entering town or at latest when I arrive at the wayshrine.

Same! I really wanted it as I am a little obsessed with owls, but this aspect alone kept me from buying it.

I agree not because of the flappy bird situation, but because the personal banker is a big purchase and to think that it doesn't have the same actions as a regular banker is a big L.

Wouldn't be a complete solution, but the ability for console players to dismiss their summons from a quick wheel would go a really long way towards cutting down on Sorc Flappies and Warden Bears crowding around.

Flying pets, especially the twilight, are really visually disruptive in areas where you need to open a dialogue menu, like banks or quest giver hubs. I've always quested on a sorc and I either have them unsummoned or I dismiss them when going into town, and it honestly takes 3 seconds to do so--I wish others players did the same.

Yeah I get annoyed by my own twilight and have to dismiss them when not in use. Not sure how others can tolerate them.

I don't think it's possible to make an addon to hide other people's pets.

There's a few on PC which add a keybind to dismiss your own pets but you still have to deal with everyone else's. I assume most people either don't care or like having them out all the time.

Is there a keybind or a fast way to unsummon them without using addons? When I use summons, I almost always put them on both bars so I don't accidentally unsummon them in combat when I'm switching back and forth between bars fast. I almost never unsummon them in town simply because, as far as I know, it would require switching out my skills every time.

You can dismiss them from the same menu that shows all your active buffs/debuffs without switching out the skill.
