Why does some transmute gear cost more in trans crystals than others?

I transmuted some armour and each piece cost me 44 transmute crystals per piece then others cos 48 so why?

✭✭✭✭✭It is based on how many pieces of the set you have in your stickerbook. The more you know, the lower the cost.PCNA2 -

Just to add to that, if you've collected *all* the pieces of a set in your stickerbook, it will only cost 25 per piece.2 -
