Because at least the last remaining players on XBox EU are at a whopping 47% for the event. Looks like they are playing 24 hours a day.
The end game playerbase is pretty dead. I wish someone would have told me before I got into this game.
There just aren't enough players to accommodate consistent end game group content and you won't get anything if you player at odd hours.
No, (that guy) never felt like this beforeGeneralGrundmann wrote: »That guy must have the time of his life!
Xbox NA is functionally dead. Yes there are plenty of people on but the large majority of players treat the game like a Skyrim adjacent chat room sit in Riften all day, maybe do a few normal dungeons some writs and log off. Not that there's a problem with that its just if you looking for too do harder group content there are less and less of those types of players on now days and less everyday.

It's just a theory, but... Could it be that most endgame players have left because said type of players was optimizing on PTS before Dungeons/Trials launch just to compete for the trifecta on launch day and then they used to go to other games for the next 3 months waiting for next DLC, while instead there still are questers and role players that, as you said, can stay logged in dancing around in Riften 24/7 from several years?
I mean... If I'd be Zos it wouldn't be much difficult to decide which type of player I want to cater to and monetize.
That said, I have nothing against good endgame players and I miss them too, but it's a classic topic in communities of any game that those can often be quite toxic.
Isn't the solution to get more people playing the content rather than telling players not to do so?

To me, the why it's pretty dead doesn't really matter. Feedback on the end game experience feels pretty hopeless and pointless. It is what it is, I just wish someone told me that the thing I want to do and enjoy progressing is pretty dead.

I get what you're saying there. But if that were the case, I would think it would be a general occurance across all servers and not necessarily impacting one server significantly more than the others.

How long have you been playing? Have you ever followed creators? From 2022 big streamers and YouTubers have warned that the endgame had died, with a mass exodus that year, due to the feeling of not being listened expressed by endgame players.DenverRalphy wrote: »Xbox NA is functionally dead. I am not on PC to see it myself, but the creators I mentioned were saying PC was highly affected too. I can't verify but would expect at least in some measure to be true.

A little over 2 months. I've gotten deep into the end game aspects of the game, except for pvp. I comfortably solo tank every trash pull in VLC.
So this is still from a new player, but I do a ton of research into all aspects of the game, cause I was pretty damn invested.

I didn't mean to discredit your opinion asking how long you've been playing; I wanted to understand how you could have missed such information.
I'm sorry to hear that. I think your new player experience is likely what a lot of people are going to experience. Hopefully crossplay will help us console players in that regard.
Until then, the only advice is the usual: find a guild for your needs - there are less endgame players but some are still doing the heavy lifting. Trying to pug or use group finder can be unsatisfying.

Completeness rate is adjusted for population. Could just be one guy with severe insomnia.
