Twitch drop progress reset

Was 45 mins short of completing the mount, tuned in on a stream and progress was reset:

Apparently the drop I was progressing towards has been marked as unavailable?

@ZOS_GinaBruno is this like a one-off glitch or do I need to watch 8 hrs consecutively? because I don't think I can manage that so may as well give up.

It's a one off because they originally set the end date to yesterday evening. The end date is a month away now so it won't reset progress.

The previous campaign has ended and a new one has started, so yes unfortunately you’ll need to start over. It does feel very unfair for an oversight on their part though. Perhaps they will do something to make it right, but after responding to our feedback about the event not being rewarding enough we just got more wall progress instead of better prizes, so I wouldn’t hold my breath.

I mean technically I am getting an extra crown crate, so yay I guess?

It doesn't feel great, I concur, alas is in-keeping with the theme of the event; not getting any souls from the mobs defending the soul reapers in the Solstice incursions because someone in a group got a shot in seconds before you made it in range does feel unfair too. It is what it is.
