Is This A Silly Question?

Per title, this concerns traits on gear such as Divines, Sturdy, Training, etc....do these stack? Meaning, do I want ALL of my gear to be one trait like Invigorating and will that effect stack if it is? Or do I want each piece of gear to have a separate trait to take advantage of as many traits as possible - meaning they don't stack but I do get each individual trait effect?

If it is the former then I am as good as I am going to get gearwise.
If it is the latter then I'm screwed for to foreseeable future as I just spent all my mats and money to upgrade every last piece of gear I could.

Please let me know.

Thank you.

Yes they stack. Many PvP players wear all Impen trait because of this.

Many published PvE builds also stack Divines on a bunch of items (not all though) to maximise the benefit from the Mundus stone.

    Thank you for the confirmations.

Another question(s) related to the quotes: Does this mean that players that both PvP and PvE carry multiple sets of gear - one for PvP damage, one for PvP healing, one for PvP tanking, one for PvE damage, one for PvE healing and one for PvE tanking?

If yes, how to they keep their gear sorted? Is there a method for quick-slotting gear - to switch it our on the fly? If yes, what is that method - HOW is it done? Is there a separate gear tab that stores the individual sets?

I'm curious as I have a slight interest in PvE healing and tanking sometime and I do not want to have to carry multiple sets of gear in my inventory.

in pve is yes,use addon can easy swap set,and some player have different type(infused or swift) can swap in different fight
like my healer have 109 gear in my bag can swap
    wew4okpvyezf.jpg
and some addon can auto swap when you in dungeon or trial ,like first boss spc/pp and trash swap to ma/pa

Okay. I see you have more than 2400 Champion Points. I have more than 800 less than that so I guess I have plenty of time before I need to be concerned about any of this. When I get up over 2000 I'll look into this again.

    Thank you.

There are add ons on PC such as Wizard's wardrobe and Dressing Room (simpler) to allow you to store different builds. You can configure Wizard's wardrobe to slot a load out for each boss in each trial - and yes for end game you need this. Each load out includes CP, gear, skills and food/potions.
Dressing room allows you to swap each gear/skills setup using hot keys.

If you are interested in PVE healing and Tanking, be prepared to carry many sets. For a PVE healer (doing vet Trials) you will at the least need SPC/Pillager's Profit and Roaring Opportunist /Jorvolds. Plus several monster sets - Symphony of blades, etc. Tanks usually need even more sets, depending on the trial, what the group needs and what the other tank is wearing.

PVE dps typically need less sets. You can probably do fine with say Deadly/Ansuuls/Velothi mystic.

Often players will have different characters for each of the types you mention. This is because to carry all the necessary gear would max out the character's inventory. Also the character's class and race for the optimum build varies.

The game has as standard the Armourer which allows you to store different builds. You get 2 build slots for free per character and after that they cost 1500 crowns for extra armourer build slots.
