Confusion About Editions VS ESO+

So I have ESO+ but I see the Premium Edition is now on sale in the store. I was tempted to buy it, but not certain what I would be buying exactly. So what exactly do I get that is not already included with my ESO+ ? Also are DLC dungeons included in the bundle, or just the chapters? Because I think I get DLC dungeons already with ESO+ but not chapters? Im very confused. Also is the 2025 content pass just everything that released in 2025? And will it just go into ESO+ once the 2026 stuff comes out? Sorry for all the questions. Just want to be certain im buying the right thing.

    You would gain access to one (1) new thing: Solstice (and the associated trial), no different than if you buy the standard edition. If you plan on having ESO+ whenever you play, buy standard or even just wait a few months for Solstice to join ESO+.

    You would gain ownership of 2 dungeon DLCs (the two released this year), Solstice, and all of the DLCs/Chapters listed under Premium Edition. This means if you cancel ESO+, you keep access to those locations.

    The difference between the 'upgrade' Content Pass and the 'retail' Premium Edition is only the inclusion of previous years' content in the Premium Edition. The 2025 content is the same in both products.

    Looking at that previous content, ESO has a number of different types of things one might reasonably call "DLC":
    * dungeon DLC;
    * zone DLC (e.g. Clockwork City);
    * Chapters which include a zone and new game features (e.g. Summerset and jewellery crafting);
    * the zone from a Chapter re-released as zone DLC a year after release, usually without the new game features.

    - ESO+ gets you all of those for as long as you are subscribed. You should currently be able to travel to every zone (e.g. Summerset, Clockwork City) except Solstice (that being the 2025 content). But if you stop subscribing, you will only be able to access base game zones and any freely released or otherwise obtained zone DLC.
    - The premium edition permanently unlocks to your account the Chapters (including new game features and some? cosmetic items). Importantly, it does not get you the 'ordinary' zone DLC. So you do get Summerset, and jewellery crafting, but not Clockwork City.

    If you look at UESP's DLC table, you can see which zones, dungeons, and features are included with which DLC. The Premium Edition includes the eight DLC with "As Chapter" listed in the release date column.

    At least, this is my understanding, which could be wrong too...

    For the most part, you're getting the Solstice story zone. The rest is more in the "own" rather than "access while the sub is active" category. You're already getting access to the two dungeon packs for this year with the sub and you're getting access to all of the chapter zones in the Premium Edition with the sub, too.But you get the Arcanist and Necromancer classes with the Premium Edition, which you do not get with ESO Plus. If you've already purchased them from the Crown Store, then no change.
    I'm fresh out of outrage, but I could muster up some amused annoyance if required.

    Okay now I think I understand. If I dont plan on doing the new content anytime soon, I would be better off just keeping ESO+ and waiting for it to be added to that content.
