Oh this is the new wandering world boss, I was starting to wonder why there wasn't a crowd of players fighting it with you.

I don't think it wanders. It seems to have its own shrine on east side of central lake (near skyshard). But it has no map marker and no associated quest and invisible one-shot mechanics, so players aren't exactly seeking him out.

Has anyone figured out the one shot mechanic on this? This boss was a total pain with only 4 people because of all the deaths. I kept looking around for the telegraph but couldn't spot it. It was basically an invisible one shot.

The mechanic are Grievous Twilights doing their teleport-slash attack. And they are no one shot kill by default, with enough health and/or armor and/or blocking you survive. Problem is these attacks happen after the bosses barrage-attack, so you are most likely not at full health and you don't see the teleport-slash coming.

It will have a standard WB marker when it officially spawns in phase 2.

Until then, this dude isn’t even supposed to be here since phase 2 involves the Worm Cult getting more brazen with their attacks. But it’s not like the lore matters in this game, right?

From the official "Known issues" thread:

"Ghishzor appearing in phase one rather than phase 2

Correction: We have hotfixed the issue with Ghishzor. However, he will not show up in Phase 2 until after U48 goes live. There is the possibility that he hangs out until tomorrow, so if you see him, don't be alarmed."

The thing hasn't spawned for an hour while I've been reading forum posts etc, lol.

For our console friends:
If Ghishzor’s fix is to just delete him from the game until U48 drops, does that mean that console people won’t see him until they get U48 as well?

Standard cadence puts that around 12 November, and logically phase 3 would have to start within less than a week after that date to get it done in time to stay in the Golden Pursuit range.

Will consoles only have Ghish up for a few days?
