Was I Supposed to Get the Coldharbour House in a Reward Box?

I got a the Coldharbour Surreal Estate house in a glorious box. This is a house worth 5k crowns, maybe 6 or 7k if you buy the furnished version. ZOS, did you mean to give away a notable house for free or is this another bug?

yes that is one of the possible rewards.
it is completely intended, would be a funny bug if it was unintended.

A chance for a sellable treasure of varying value (one is guaranteed in Glorious coffers)
This reward has a very low chance to be replaced with the Coldharbour Surreal Estate if you do not already own it, or with a sellable treasure of exceptional value if you do

Coldharbour Surreal Estate does not have a furnished version.
it is also available for 1 million gold, most people probably buy it with gold (i know i did).

Thought it was a bug at first since I've been getting more bugs with this event than I normally do. Saw the event before it went live and I was able to kill the kill boss before phase 2

Congrats, @xbluerosesx! I bought it for gold some years ago, but it's awesome that you were able to get it for free (even if it's essentially just a piece of rock floating in a void).

Disappointed I did everything and didn’t get a single motif page or furnishing plan. Just tons of decon material.

No. It's a 20k treasure. Yep, you heard me. Instead of a 1m gold house you get a 20k treasure.

I've gotten multiple of those skulls, both before and after getting the house. Didn't even realise I'd got that until I went to look at something else and noticed the new collection items icon.

No. It's the Wormblood's Ceremonial Chalice which is a gold treasure valued at 10k

No, we do get a mere vendor treasure if we already own the house, but it's worth 10,000gp.

I still have a bitter taste in my mouth that all the people who have owned this house for years received absolutely nothing of real value from the event... It's not that I begrudge the new players getting something great - but what do the loyal players who have been with ESO for years or even a whole decade get?

It's more annoying that they describe it as being of "exceptional value." You get more than this just logging in most months
