I do not have access to Solstice, and was unable to get a Coffer from "The first Crafting daily of any type you complete each day". I've tried both normal daily Writs and Master Writs, neither have rewarded me with a Coffer.

I’ve done all the quests on 2 accounts, multiple times, and only got 3 glorious reward coffers. Thought I was crazy and did the daily crafting writs on both accounts for the fourth… but nothing.

Am i missing something or are we only supposed to get 3 glorious coffers per day?

In the interest of science (and to respond to the OP) the 3 glorious coffers I got on each account were “Glorious Writhing Blacksmith Reward Coffer” (the other account was a different crafting coffer), “Glorious Writhing Rewards Coffer”, and “Glorious Writhing Siege Rewards Coffer.”

Other feedback: I did the prologue quest and picked up the quest to gather vitrified souls in Stirk and then turned it in once the event started in Solstice.

I got the gold box for the siege camps, the crafting, and the souls, but not the quartermaster. So you might be right.

It looks like it's the case. I turned in the souls first and got the golden box. Then, I turned in the furs one, and got the blue box. Since the blue ones do not seem to drop anything useful, I will stick to the souls since they are faster to obtain from the siege camps.

I'll kind of go along with this, except I did it the other way around and got a regular reward box from the Quartermaster.

As a side-note, the Quartermaster's daily was to gather soul essences or somesuch from undead in Covenant zones. Surprisingly, the skeletons at Cath Bedraud didn't drop didly (killed 20-30 of them), but I was able to complete the quest with zombies outside the target area and some ghosts in Stormhaven.

Interesting. I did not read it earlier today, so I assumed that it was my lack of knowledge. Looks like some after the fact shenanigans.

I may be remembering wrong, but I started doing these with an account that doesn't have Solstice, knocked out the crafting one as I ran around Stirk talking to the others, and I think I got a Purple box for it. I thought, well that kind of makes sense since these crafting quests are so stupid easy compared to the endless grind of the others, they won't even grant a full reward. Won't bother with these then. As I said, that account can only grab 3 quests because it doesn't have Solstice.

Any other quest I have done has given me nothing but a blue box with a single trash decon piece of gear.

The box contained a Master writ and two stacks of 10 ruby ash.

I got one Wormwrithe Style page and that came from a blue box, it was the Jack.

So that confirms stuff does drop from the blue ones. Because I spent the whole afternoon doing them and got literally only decon set pieces. One box had two pieces. That's it. Nothing else. I'm guessing the drop rate is so incredibly bad for these, our time is better spent doing the 4 quests once per day and then doing something else, like actually playing the game.

The drop rates are just so incredibly bad… been doing this 8 hours with nothing to show for it. It’s not fun when the reward boxes don’t have any rewards….

And they want us to do this for a month?

That's indicated in the Known Issues (the motif's not dropping either) and Kevin said there should be a hotfix tomorrow.

Then this is a change from what went up earlier. My initial thought was that your take was correct and I went back to check a couple of YouTubers who went through that post word-for-word when it went up mid-week last week. At that time it was "up to three" Glorious Coffers and it only listed the Vitrified Souls daily, the Siege Camp daily, and the Crafting daily. So the three coffers is apparently the intended behavior. I'd guess that someone added the fourth for some reason, then removed it again.

The whole presentation around this event has been rather confusing.

Update: I gave it one more try. An Unknown Clothier Writ which was the only thing in the Gold box...

So an ad popped up on steam for the event this morning. It still has incorrect information about the event boxes.
