Hey! I have uploaded my 3D markers addon, "More Markers" to esoui and Minion!
This is an addon similar to Elm's Markers, allowing for users to place custom 3d markers in zones and trials, and share them between group members. My addon offers better performance, greater flexibility, and full compatibility for consoles!
On the esoui page for the addon, I have included a full list of reasons why you should choose to use this addon instead of Elms markers, but heres a quick run down:
- Better fps: Ody Support Icons (and Elms by extension) do a lot of intense calculations every frame to place markers in the 3d world. Instead, this addon uses the official ZOS API for SPACE, which is very performance-efficient. I have turned off Ody support icons after making this addon and gained a few fps back (I've been using it for all of my raids for the past 2-3 weeks and have made markers specifically for it).
- Placing at cursor: Using the quick menu (/mmmenu), you can place/remove markers at your cursor location.
- Better Flexibility: This addon uses the in-game text labels and fonts, meaning that you can write virtually anything on a marker, at no performance loss. The addon can also do fancy stuff with markers, like scale them or place them flat on the ground.
- Profiles: The addon has an account-wide profile system, allowing you to quickly swap between profiles depending on what raid you are in. In addition, you can load multiple profiles at once, allowing you to separate stuff like boss strats and slayer markers for trash. I have also included some premade marker profiles for 8 of the trials!
- Importing from elms!
- When importing and exporting, you have the option to either append or overwrite the current profile. The group leader can also share profiles with members of the group by a single button press in the settings, in addition to using the export/import strings!
This addon is also available on consoles! The addon can be downloaded either on Minion, at
