This have been asked many times before and never listened to but maybe the new leadership are willing to look into the issue.

I am refereing to PC/EU but there is the same problem everywhere and it destroys the fun in cyro outside of prime time.

As an example just now Blackreach is fully blue and Gray Host is mostly red. Colours varies from campaign to campaign.

Everyone know that its harder to take a keep than defend it, non the less the present system favors the faction that owns most keeps (extra buffs). The effect is that when there are few in Cyro the allinace whith the largest number mostly can take most of the map and keep it and thus kill pvp. That is hardly fun for anyone and not good for the game interest.

Plase reconsider and create a system where the underdog factions get buffed instead, so they have a chance to balance the map.

I used to play GH/NA 6+ hours a day and now I play like once a week.

Idk if giving the losing teams buffs would fix anything since the main problem is the population differences in GH. DC holds the entire map and scrolls whenever I get on late afternoon EST.

DC also has EP toons relaying zone chat to their alliance thus making any "sneaky siege" useless since there's already 10+ DC waiting.

Unfortunately it looks to be a player base problem that I'm not sure is fixable.

Cyro is a great concept and was so fun during the event over the summer where every faction was pop locked almost the whole day.

But this campaign is just filled with a bunch of warden gremlins who t-bag you after jumping you with 8 others or will whisper you some weird stuff after you kill them as if you personally hurt them IRL.

Anyways, Cyro is definitely a great PvP experience when factions are equal in numbers and not teaming but unfortunately people understandably want to be on the winning side or with friends which tilts population sizes and leads to dead campaigns like this one.

Luckily BF6 comes out soon though.

i agree with this. the mass amount of buffs you get for having all scrolls and keeps makes the underdog not even want to try and just go to the side the controls the map instead

I believe that the idea isn't just to make the under dog or the dominant faction stronger or weaker across the board. Instead, they should both be buffed, but in different areas. For example, one does increased dps with siege while the other has something like increased mag regen. There's a massive variety to work with, and is really only limited by the creativity of those working on it. (and what the higher ups will allow)

I have no idea what the optimal balance should be, but I believe the key is to buff both. That way there are increased incentives to both ends. Think pulling vs pushing.

One simple way to give an incentive dominant fictionthrillern is more ap. There is already some keeps that give extra ap.

This is such a glaring issue that it is absolutely astounding that the system has not been changed basically since inception.

Beyond even gameplay considerations, you need to SHOW ME THE MONEY, materially speaking, if you want players to ever voluntarily consider coming into a 1 or 2 bar vs. locked + Emp + Scrolls + map situation where you are basically signing-up ahead of time to get relentlessly zerged-down simply trying to collect your home keeps.

That is not "fun" for the overwhelming majority of players (hence the campaign death spiral that we have frequently observed in Ravenwatch, Blackreach, etc.) so they vote with their feet and simply do not log-in. Long-term, they abandon the campaign if their faction is always in that position. This is like blindingly obvious. Players do not want to spend their free time getting zerged-down with literally nothing to show for it. Which is what the current system gives them.
