Orange means further away than Yellow, is that right?
If so, why is the Orange square closer to the antiquity than the Yellow square?
Or do I have this wrong?

✭When you fully uncover the antiquity, you'll see that all the yellow squares are less than two squares away from one square of the antiquity. The one you marked will turn out to be only one square away from the antiquity diagonally.1 -
