Rewards are beyond disappointing. We went from notable homes, nested boxes with attunable crafting stations to a purple lizard bear. How did this happen?

It really is such a shame to see lacking rewards still being such an issue, especially now. The design teams put in so much amazing work to get this off the ground; I wish the rewards were commensurate. I'd have expected some cool reward at each phase. A mount at phase 1, fine, cool. Phase 3 though - we should be getting a castle or something. But, that'll probably wind up in the crown store months after.

@ZOS_Kevin are the rewards locked in?

Ok, I'm willing to admit when I'm wrong. I just read this article on ESO Hub and the rewards are pretty awesome.

I really appreciate that we can get the bone caltrops (25 fragments... urgh) and a few other rewards will be available for us that don't have the pass... But it does feel lacking for the price and hype - still honestly not enough to make me feel like I want to purchase unless we get a decent discount

    to be fair,
the only zone event that rewarded a notable home was Summerfall in 2018 with Psijic Villa. And we are already getting the notable Chapel of Julianos in q4 events via event tickets.

we just had a Golden Pursuit campaign in August that gave us one of each attunable crafting stations, the chapter events did not give Jewellery stations.

i like the Wall event rewards and sure i could understand wanting more, but look at the rest of the year beyond this event too.
As to free awarded homes, in addition to Grand Psijic Villa I have:

    Antiquarian's Alpine Gallery
    Doom Char Plateau
    Sword Singer's Redoubt
    Seabloom Villa
    Haven of the Five Companions.

There may be more I missed.
So, they haven't been stingy with rewarding homes.

Seabloom Villa was a website promotion purchase and not an event reward.

I've yet to see any information on evergreen rewards from the dailies or boss drops, but the other rewards seem kinda mid? Reskins for unpopular mounts and pets are alright... but at this point in ESO's lifetime I honestly feel like the game is so saturated with motifs and reskins that I am unlikely to even use these when there's so many cooler options already available.

I'm not certain how others feel about titles, but I don't see the appeal for those unless it's something really meaningful like Former Emperor/Empress, perfect Arena titles, etc. The only exception I'll make to this is "of House Ravenwatch" because that title had a pretty deep significance to that particular story's narrative. Maybe it's just me, but "Wall Breaker" sounds like you poke at something with a sledgehammer; "Demolisher" would have had a better ring to it imo.

What I took from that stream on the 1st is that it seems they expect the player incentive is to gain access to content they already paid for. Seems rather odd to present new content this way by holding it hostage behind a community race grind for no extra reward for unlocking it first. I'm hoping I am wrong and that the upcoming article will give us a clearer view of this whole event, but that was the impression I was left with.

I am very happy however to see an obtainable skill style, that is a neat reward. I just hope in the future they don't keep the coolest styles in the gamble crates or store. ESO could use more non-fomo incentives and evergreen rewards to play stuff at your own pace and revitalize old content, like Heists and Sacraments for example.

I'm having a hard time believing they put in all this massive effort for a one-time limited event too. Sounds like a very inefficient use of studio time, resources, and voice acting.

Ugh. I was going to wait a year before playing through this year's content, but it would be lame to miss out on the event in real time. Looks like they sucked me in. I have come to hate events in ESO, but this one seems like it will be a great one-time event.

Don't care about rewards as those are pretty much always things that add no value to my experience in ESO, but missing the event would cause the immersion in the storytelling to suffer.
