So was it ever determined what gives +5 Sharp rapport on log-in?

... I have searched the discussions and couldn't find anything conclusive, to the point "logging on with Sharp summoned while in the zone you didn't log in with him summoned yet" seems almost the most plausible...

Is it always the same zone or a different?
I know from Tanlorin that it gives +5 for visiting Alinor, so it may be something equal with Sharp?

There is a way shrine in shadowfen and Murkmire, but I think it was a bigger increase.

This is for visiting any Hist tree. Not sure why they specify "sapling". It's also +10.

No, it is DEFINITELY not the Hist tree, it triggered kind of randomly for me, and mostly only in the beginning, including logging in in Rawl'kha, Leyawiin and just a few days ago got it outside Necrom.

I cannot replicate it anymore, that's why my guess is, every zone once across the account, much like Zerith'var has "Completing multipart antiquities, but only until you complete their codex -- i.e., no more than thrice across the whole account".

Something about being in cities iirc. There's a forum thread in the PTS section for each set of DLC's companion's rapport changes.

Does Sharp say anything when it happens? If you can document the NPC dialogue, that would be great! You can enable the NPC subtitles in the audio settings, and also enable NPC dialogue in the chat box via the chat tab's options.

No, it's not the cities. When in cities, he comments on how he wants to get out asap. And yeah, I have checked those threads, but this particular thing is all maybe yes maybe no maybe rain maybe snow...

It would have been much easier if it happened more often. I had it happen a bunch back when I just got him, then nothing until the last week.

Good thought - also would apply for auto-repair or recharge.

Repair only gives +1 for Sharp, even if it was happening on log-on though...
