Too much to do in October

Capture the Relic Battlegrounds Weekend (October 9-14)
Battle for the Writhing Wall (October 13-TBD*)
Golden Pursuits—Battle for the Writhing Wall (October 13-November 26)
Witches Festival (October 23-November 5)

The first people will probably have completed the "Golden Pursuits" by October 13th, but that seems too stressful for me.

I think I'll take a break.

I'm relatively confident that the GP tasks will fill concurrently with participating in the Writhing Wall event. So that's likely not much of a factor.

    I don't play 2 team BG's.
    I didn't buy Solstice.
No writighing wall access, so no BG for me.
Ah, I will actually play witches festival, at least for tickets, which will take less than 10 minutes/day.

So, not that busy an October after all.

I dunno why it would require a break, one doesn't actually have to grind and participate in everything. Just do what seems enjoyable and don't fret about it.

Tbh outside of this year's new hotness, the wall event, it's a very standard monthly schedule with a ticket event, a golden pursuit, and a weekend BG thing (which is not something a large part of the playerbase even participates in).

Thanks for the conversation in this thread. Just wanted to provide some follow up.

If you need a break, we always advocate for that. We don't want anyone to feel so overburdened that they burn out. ESO will be here when your break is over.

That being said, having Writhing Wall and Witches Festival somewhat overlap can be daunting. It's kinda just how the schedule shook out for having these events. However, we do think it provides a variety of things to do during that time period.

However, we still understand the concern about having two overlapping items. We are taking that feedback to the team and will monitor this issue during the event period.

That is not completely accurate. There will be some elements folks without Season of the Worm Cult will be able to participate in regarding the Writhing Wall Event. We will be outlining specifics in tomorrow's stream and will also have an article with details as well.

I'm curious to know the details on the GP, since I don't have the Solstice content and am unlikely to do so for this event.

Well personally I will completely skip the BG weekend because even as a player who PvPs that is not enjoyable content and the rewards are meager.

Oh, it’s CTR so even more so! What a terrible mode for two teams!

I will try to do the other three but I am concerned about having to invest a lot of time into the game, I just don’t do that much anymore.

I will skip the Battlegrounds thing because it comes up quite often. The two Writhing Wall tasks likely have a lot of overlap so that you won't have to go out of your way too much to do two separate things.

They really need to consider the way the current event ticket limit creates event fatigue. I get they don't want people skipping events too much but honestly it should be easier to skip them a little.

Yeah, I don't understand why anyone would complain about that one. Battlegrounds weekends are quite common, and have been for a few years. Players who enjoy Battlegrounds-- and there appear to be a lot of players who do-- are free to participate in that one or not, just as during any other month that there's a Battlegrounds weekend. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the principal attraction of those mini-events the fact that you can earn increased amounts of Alliance Points? It isn't like there are any event tickets or some kind of limited-time collectible to earn, so to me it seems like a pretty no-pressure mini-event that is intended to show some appreciation to Battlegrounds fans by letting them earn more Alliance Points than usual if they wish.

I think there is a good balance of things to do, as long as too many of the events don't involve tickets. Even if they do involve tickets most of the time you can just login and get them in 5 mins or less and log out for the day.

2 team battlegrounds are not fun

When are 3 teams going to make their long-promised, special-event-only reappearance? Khajiit awaits with baited breath for the return of one of his favorite game-play activities that he no longer has access to :(

Same! People can always pick and choose what events and other activities they participate in. Personally, I think October looks to be a fun month!

People seem to forget that nobody is forced to do everything.

Pick and choose if you don't have time or if you are not in the mood. There will be more halloween, battleground and other events in the future.

Given that the witches festival offers limited time items such as outfits and tickets, it makes sense that that will be people's priority until it is over.
The writhing wall can be mindlessly grinded out in November with little to no impact really.

For me it's not the too much that annoye me but mostly the impact it has on the famous epic event to break the wall to have access to the eastern solstice to have the witches festival coming when it will maybe not open yet.

They could have switch the writhing wall event with the daedric war event we'll have in november, having the whole month of november to break the wall and have nothing else to do when we open it except going to explore eastern solstice.
(it could also gave them a bit more time to prepare it and to fix stuff or others like I don't know get back the french voiceover they lost for some reason for U47 & U48)

But instead we'll have the wall to open and in same time or when it will be open got spooky aura everywhere and don't forget to go get your tickets, boxes on different boss, kill hallowjack, etc...

It just makes it so less impactful and ruin the little of hype I got for it as I though it would be at least a bit big and epic thing.

And not to mention that it seems the only idea they had to make it spicy was to add a pointless competition between the two servers (like if we really needed to split the community for PvE content where it supposed to be a cooperation event) where it will just be annoying to see the other server get the update first when we'll need to still wait for it.
