I am really fond of the music in Craglorn. Every time I go there I am struck by how adventurous it feels.

What is your favorite zone music?

Since bard music has been mentioned, let's add that too!

Craglorn/Cyrodiil (they share themes) is pretty good.

My favorite though is the Reach. That’s music alone inspired me to make a Reachman character (and he’s a bard to boot)

However if we want to talk about actual bards and their songs, I give the win to On Topal Bay, with (specifically the female version of) the Star-Eyed Bride of Alinor in second.

I was just last night thinking about how it's too much. Belkarth used to be the premiere chill spot but the blaring music just doesn't fit the vibe of sitting around and chatting.

That's a difficult one for me to answer, as I like all of the game music.

As far as the bards go, any of them that are voiced by Malukah are my favorites, regardless of which song she is singing.

I really enjoy how the music in Craglorn and Cyrodiil switches from heroic to pensive. I love the forlorn music in Cyrodiil, when I'm in a low pop instance (eg. one of the temporary MYM ones), I can ride through and see practically no one, it's so atmospheric (but probably not the Cyro most players know :D ).

There are some themes that play in Craglorn that similarly feel ethereal and beautiful, it's so lovely to farm there listening to the music.

I also like the music in the Alik'r, it's one of the reasons I've been enjoying decorating my Sword Singer's Redoubt so much.

I'd never really paid much attention to songs being sung by the bards, until way way back with the Morrowind launch, I caught a few lines from a Morrowind bard singing something about the Cliff-Strider, wait, did I just hear something about them (Cliff-Striders) doing something to pillows and a subsequent smell? I waited again listening to to the rotation of songs, listening careful this time to the lyrics of each song. I adored and roared with laughter to the Red Mountain Drinking Song, eventually the Cliff-Strider song returned, I listened carefully and fell in love with this song so much.
I was listening to a rendition of it recently, playing TESO via desk top speakers, I will often just stop whatever I am doing in game just to listen and reflect on the memories I have of this game. My wife happened to be in my study too, and commented on how beautiful a tune it is, (she doesn't play any computer/console game) and asked me to explain what the song was about. I had some difficulty in explaining to someone who has no concept of TESO, exactly what a cliff-strider is and why it might be celebrated so.
Isn't our beautiful game just incredible? So much music to enjoy. Thank you to all all involved in the musical side of our game. On the subject of zone music, the theme of Western Skyrim is utterly haunting, gothic and is perfect background theme for the vampiric Nord twin sisters, 'Toldi the Tuneless' and 'Brea the Tuneful' of Proudspire Manor.

So apparently the piece I love also plays in other zones, but I mainly hear it in Cyrodiil. It's called "A Land Burdened with History". It always gives me tingles to hear it:

For me it's when I hear Morrowind's or Oblivion's soundtrack playing. I notice it the most often in Vvardenfell and the Gold Coast, but I can imagine a few other zones play them regularly if you visit those (especially those that where in those games).
I'm not as active as I would like there, but I sometimes write stuff on the UESP.

When I came into the game, I found a bunch of dlc tracks were reused in the base game after the fact. I played the base game zone first, so to me the memories of these tracks are tied to the base game zones rather than where they came from.

      That said, my favorites
Both Rivenspire tracks; (northern and southern areas have different ones) which I think are both from Dark Brotherhood.
      Stonefalls (again, DB or TG)
      Grahtwood/Orisinuim
The updated boss music usually played at dolmens (I think it came from IC)

While I didn't like it at first, I have grown to love West Skyrim's melancholy soundtrack. It feels lonely, cold and dark, appropriate for the zone.

Bard songs: Swagger and Sway, Red Diamond, Over the Seas, and all the ones from Elsewyer (Bandarri Girl and the gambling one)

My favorite startup music is still Elsewyer, because that one was my first and still gets me pumped to adventure when I hear it.

I have an issue with the creepy music from Western Skyrim, especially because I can't change it inside homes. (I can use music boxes, but they all give me headaches after a few loops)

My fav music is from Craglorn/Cyrodiil. There are many good soundtracks to chose from. I love the Auridon theme too. Redguard themes are good too. I am usually pleasantly surprised with good sountracks in the newer DLCs.

I would like an option to change the soundtrack in houses and set one from the ones available in the game.
