[Fists Build] Stendarr's Fists

Hi!,

Fists, Hand-to-hand, Unarmored... it had many names, there is an ancient combat technique, so they said... it could be true?, let's find it out...

This build focuses on immersion although aswell is thinked to play it doing quests and even dungeons, although for competitive activities who knows, maybe you knock out someone on PvP that would be glorious, the idea is to have the most stamina possible so it increases your attack damage, get a gear set that increases weapon damage, also that add stamina, works well too with gear that increases critical attack or critical rate, better to wear heavy armor. This character is a nordy nord who do not like daedra, undead, vampires or werewolves, the four abominations do they say..., so it has a mix of skills of self restoration and some light and/or burning sun abilities to scorch your undead and creepy fellows

    I'd use Oakensoul for the permanent uptime nearly all the buffs you would want. I'd strongly suggest using this for buff maintenance to allow you more freedom with the skills you want to use.

    You will likely get more mileage out of sets that increase the base damage of light and heavy attacks outright over stat stacking

    (5 items) When you deal damage with a melee Light Attack, you gain a stack of Blood Scent for 8 seconds. When you gain 5 stacks, you become Frenzied for 5 seconds, increasing your melee Light Attack damage by 2050 and attack speed by 50%. This effect can occur every 15 seconds.

    Not a lot of uptime but gives the unique effect of periods where you attack quickly with amped light attacks, could make combat more interesting/less stale.

    Flat increase to both your light attack and Heavy attack damage, multiplicative with HA's Empower/Off-balance (Against monsters), always up if in constant combat.

    Gives you stamina you were looking for and more flat base damage for both light and heavy attacks.

    Off- Balance
    Off-Balance Enemies take multiplicative damage from Heavy Attacks which is also multiplicative with Empower, so you probably want a skill that sets an enemy off-balance reliably to setup a death-blow.

    Toppling charge will set enemies off-balance, and also taunts them, which might be interesting to experiment around on https://eso-sets.com/set/curse-of-doylemish (Although I don't think this damage is amped by Empower or Off-balance, so better to use a set that amplifies base damage of LA/HA's)

    Although this might be very Magicka Hungry and you don't seem to have a good way to restore magicka.
    The most economical skill I can think of for resources and off-balance is either Trample:

    Effect: Pierce the air with a shrill whistle, calling your mount forth to trample enemies in a line. This ability cannot be re-activated while your mount is already attacking.
    Deals 7897 Physical Damage to all enemies.
    + Chosen Signature Script
    Sets enemies Off Balance for 7 seconds.

    Slice into your enemy's life force, dealing 1799 Bleed Damage, applying the Hemorrhaging status effect, and setting them Off Balance for 7 seconds.     This however wouldn't be thematic.

    Earthen Heart
    Stone Giant - This skill includes a stomp animation, giving a more variety to your animations in combat. (but ultimately comes across as more of an "earth bender")

    Crush the earth beneath you, dealing 2323 Physical Damage to all enemies within 6 meters of you. Debris ripped from the ground is held around you for 10 seconds. Activating the ability again allows you to launch part of the debris at an enemy, dealing 2323 Physical Damage, up to 3 times. The final cast stuns for 2.5 seconds. Each hit applies Stagger, increasing damage taken by 65 per stack for 5 seconds.

    Casting an Earthen Heart skill also includes the Minor Brutality Buff, increasing Weapon Damage by 10%

    Flame Lash - This includes a spinning attack, once again a more martial looking ability

    Lash an enemy with flame, dealing 2323 Flame Damage. If you strike an enemy that is immobilized or stunned, you set them Off Balance. Targeting an Off Balance or immobilized enemy changes this ability into Power Lash, allowing you to lash an enemy at half cost to deal 2760 Flame Damage and healing you for 2760 Health.

    If they ever introduce skill-styles that make this more holy-light based it'd fit in with your Stendar theme. maybe.


    In terms of overall diversification of combat mechanics I'd suggest:
    Oakensoul (frees up skill-slots)
    Blood Moon (Periods of berserker rage light attacks) (although Undaunted is probably easier to farm, and can thematically be passed off as using your connection to stendar to empower your fists after using templar abilities)
    Scribing Trample (Off-balance HA setup, "uses" Mount in combat)
    Noble Duelist Silks (generic damage amp for fist light/heavy attacks)

    Then whatever other 4 skills and ult you want to use. None of the above are even class specific.
