Because of the Undaunted event, I just ported to a guildmate in a delve I haven't visited in ages. And right there at the entrance: the most frustrating plant 😂

There are many more important things, yes. But I hope this one's easy-ish to make into a furnishing? 🙏🥺

Honestly if it were like Solstice or better drop rates (like they said they're improving in U48 patch notes), that'd be OK.

But in order of preference, #1 would be just adding it to a Home Goods vendor (along with updating old zone HG vendors with "new" stock – old assets and plants like this, which is on the master wish list too).

#2 most realistic would probably be a Luxury Vendor item, also fine.

#3 harvesting lootable with good drop rate

There's so much grind for housing already though. I want LESS grind, to be able to actually spend time on the gameplay I enjoy, building out ideas. Not waste months on RNG only to run out of steam and trash a whole idea completely for the Nth time. (The Treasure Map Lead system especially can go in the incinerator please.)

I think players should be able to get old stuff like this. And by that I mean easily get it. Like in Home Goods vendors or from farming it with normal droprates.

The game has so much nice furniture that's just not available to players.

Yeah. It's kind of dicey with older stuff like this, especially things that were made early in or before Homestead. A lot of these assets have invisible areas and other problems since they're optimized to be environment assets foremost. And then there's a whole process to actually making it usable as a furnishing, and on the data side.

I enjoyed this interview with one of the Housing devs and this article, both give some insights about this:

So I get why they can't put everything and why it takes a while, that's why I phrased the title as "hope this one's easy!"

But agree, there's a lot of old and plain items that lots of players would love to have. I tag a lot of stuff like this and send requests for them sometimes.
