Is there a Block Bug on Bar Swapping?

I swear i have noticed a few times while executing abilities and bar swapping while holding block a delay or bug that allows a hit to get thru. Maybe it was sloppy play on my part but I do not think so. Anyone else have any bar swap block issues or a slight delay sometimes?

What key are you using to barswap?
My MMO mouse was set to use the NumPad keys, but I noticed that in this game, for whatever reason, NumPad keys were interrupting other inputs for a fraction of a second.
While this had the benefit of being able to cast abilities while holding down sprint (instead of having to let go of sprint for a half second to cast an ability), it has the issue of interrupting block while barswapping (as I was using NumPad 6 to bar swap). I kept getting stunned or pulled by Rush while barswapping (which shouldn't happen anymore after they changed block to not drop when barswapping).
Once I swapped my MMO mouse to use different keys on the keyboard, this stopped happening. It's possible other keys are doing this, so I'd maybe try swapping your key to see if that helps.Edited by CameraBeardThePirate on September 24, 2025 6:19PM0 -

I use the right mouse button to Block. Keys for abilities and mouse to bar swap.0 -

Short Answer: Yes
Long Answer: The recent changes they have made to fix two other block bugs have improved the situation, but the underlying cause remains de-sync. So not a bug per se, but a consequence of the communication path. An experienced tank will never bar swap when they know a big hit is coming. In PvP the de-sync tends to be worse so this becomes more prevelant.
