Ergonomics of Argonian (and Khajiit) furniture

I recently watched a YouTube video showcasing the new furnishings found on the PTS. (Not datamined). There are a couple Stonenest Argonian seats that look like stone lazyboys. Problem is, there is no place for their tails!
Any species with a tail the size of your leg, sticking out your backside, would design the chairs to accommodate said tail.
This has been a bit of a pet peeve of mine for years, and seems like a bit of an oversight on the devs part. Not trying to give anybody a hard time, this game is loaded with little details that always impress me. Just, someone didn't think it through all the way.

The chairs that do accommodate tails often look incredibly hard and uncomfortable for bony Khajiit behinds too, I am thinking of the Elsweyr ones. I don’t think I have ever crafted one.

Agree most of the sofas are not padded, but they have a tail hole.

They'd probably just say they curl their tails around to their front, even if they sitting animation doesn't show that.

But it is disheartening the Art team wouldn't take this into account.

I know real world cats can do that, but their tails are thinner and more flexible. But, if you look at something like a crocodile or alligator, the tail is too thick, especially at the base, to curl around. More muscle mass, les flexibility. Ex. Look at the run animations for khajiit compared to argonians. Pretty close to real world analogs.

Most sitting furniture looks weird (from the side) when a non-tailed sits down. They sit way too far forward.

Yes, like the khajiit does in Oblivion as seen above also not unlike how real cat do it.

Imagine an argonian tail being stiffer as is much thicker.
