Issue with Completing Eidetic Memory Related to Tales of Tribute Clues

Hello,

I would like to report an issue regarding the completion of Eidetic Memory. As a player who greatly enjoys the lore and takes pleasure in filling out every entry in the library, it is quite frustrating to realize that a mistake made on the wrong character can permanently block certain discoveries from being completed on one’s main character.

Specifically, if a Tales of Tribute clue (for example, those tied to the Tales of Glory) is unlocked on another character, the entry is marked as completed for the entire account but can no longer be obtained on any other character. As a result, it becomes impossible to properly complete Eidetic Memory on one’s main character.

The problem is that nothing in-game warns the player that this choice is permanent, so one only discovers too late that a collection entry has been “lost” for their main.

I believe it would be important to consider a solution, such as:

Making Eidetic Memory truly account-wide, so that every character can view the full collection.

Or allowing that, once a book/scroll has been unlocked by one character, the others can access it as well through a library or shared location (for instance, in the High Rock expansion home where all the quests tied to the Tales are available).

This would prevent collectors like myself from being penalized, and would allow us to fully centralize our discoveries on a main character while enjoying a complete progression.

Thank you in advance for your attention and for any possible resolution.

They should offer up the card clues as readable furnishings with a chance to drop from the ToT daily coffers if the character (player?) has collected them. Just like the lorebooks from treasure chests.

I completely agree. Eidetic Memory should be account wide. Think of the resource savings ZOS!! There is another forum that specifically discusses inaccessible and books to have known issues here for the eidetic memory and this would solve 99% of the issues lots of players are having:
