Precognition can no longer be cast while pinned by Gamyne Bandu

Trying to solo Fungal Grotto 2 veteran. You used to be able to cast precognition to escape her pin mechanic, it is now uncastable, getting a message saying I cannot use the skill at this time.

The skill is still usable in other pin mechanics throughout the game

But is it? I tried to solo Blackheart Haven the other night and used Precognition but it didn't help prevent me from being turned into a skeleton. I'm not a werewolf, and don't have any set gear that can heal me through the skeletal phases, so as far as I can tell Precognition is worthless in Blackheart Haven, contrary to what I'd been told a few years ago. Oh, well.

I don't believe precognition has ever worked in Blackheart. It's a long time since I ran it so I don't remember... does your skill bar disappear instantly when he casts the skill? This would explain why, as you don't get the chance to use it.

As you mentioned werewolf works, the Sorceror lightning punch ultimate also worked as I believe it counted as a transform, though I don't know if it still does.

Yesterday I used precog in crypt of hearts 2 to escape the last boss pin so it certainly works in other dungeons

In the past, various players had mentioned using Precognition to help solo Blackheart Haven, but I've never been able to get it to do anything useful-- and, as you said, our ability bar disappears while we're transformed, so we aren't able to use our skills. Nevertheless, you can use Precognition as the boss starts to pin you, or while pinned, and it seems to work as far as letting you escape the pin, but you're still a skeleton and still lose your ability bar, so it seems to me like you're just wasting Ultimate.

I had tried using it in Crypt of Hearts II a while back, and it didn't help me then, but I'll try again. Depending on which main I'd tried it on, I could have been using the unmorphed Undo ultimate instead of Precognition, but now I've got it leveled up and morphed on both of my mains.
