Don't play ToT - it is fake random

I have enough of the fake random card distribution as in ToT. It is NOT random and it is not even simulated random. It is fake random.

I think it is fake random on purpose to indulge players so that they can enjoy the synergies more often.

It is however entirely contradicting the basic rule of card games that should be based fully on random card distribution.

As such I have to recommend not to play ToT at all and I will stop doing so. It is just an annoyance everytime I see fake randomnes at work.

It's also upsetting that the poorly seeded RNG impacts other parts of the game to. Im quite certain it impacts crown crstes which is a no no since people spend money for them.

Card repeats happen way more often than the do in a Poker flop and ToT uses twice the number of cards with fewer cards that appear as 4 copies. I started to jot down games with early repeated cards versus games without them and the results were obviously lopsided toward card repeats.

Just paying attention to the RNG of the game helps too. It's a game wide issue. At a certain point too many impossibly unlikely things happen and it's obvious that the games RNG seeding has an issue.

So, just for the heck of it I did a test with 25 crown crates. And I've experienced the same thing that I've experienced in the past. It's either all or nothing. High rarity drops, including the Apex I got came in repeats. The last 25 that I opened a week ago and the same thing happen. Most crown seasons, if I hit a good seed with that bundle, then I get repeated rare items.

The idea that the game works is much more superstitious at this point than any crank theory about the game cheating.

I just want to point out what I meant by "repeats." I mean the same exact item. Whenever I get muliple apex drops during an unboxing, I often get the same exact apex.

Hot streaks seem to be based on an overall seed, like something generated by the server one is currently connected to. I say this because my twitch crown crate mount came right after i unboxed my first radiant apex. It could be a coincidence, but it could also be that ESO does a poor job at refreshing seeds between RNG events. What if something like the nth digit of the unix time is being referenced? We cant know how the seed works, but we can observe if it has issues with short term rng runs even if it does even out over millions of rng events.
