Crown Store NPCs - Allow Vendor Customization

(1) These would be really cool if they were less expensive. The cost of crowns for them is far too high for having no real utility I feel.

(2) It would be really cool if they could be customized to be set to whatever vendor type you'd like to have in your home.

So for example, it would be cool to have an alchemy supplier or a chef or a general merchant or an enchanted supplier or a food market vendor because those are all really useful vendors to have. Or possibly other advantageous options (banker, guild banker, guild auctions, etc)

The crown store NPCs are expensive for a reason.
There is nothing they can do that you can't do elsewhere for free. You're paying for the convenience of having them with you or in your home.

I doubt they will ever allow us to purchase item vendors. Its preferred that if we need those things you've mentioned here and don't want to farm them or find them ourselves then we are steered to guild traders or game npcs. Keeps gold moving.

If we had an alchemy supplier selling alchemy supplies to just us in our homes, or a chef/food seller selling us different provisions then it takes business away from guild traders/game npcs.

While it would be neat to have merchants like that - especially since some of my large properties are actually built as villages/towns, the Bank and merchant ones are all we really need.

One thing that's always been asked for is a special banker that would allow us to access our guild stores and if that ever came about it would likely be quite expensive.

An alternate idea would be to have a furnishing item, a "planter" or "pot" that maybe once every 24 hours or something actually spawns a harvestable flower. Allow so many per home (based on the size of the home) just like collector slots... Rooms at the inn would have just 1. Bigger homes more. That would be very nice and likely wouldn't spawn so many flowers as to alter the trade sales but would just be very cool and a reason to log in to go to the houses every day and harvest the blooms.

It's also been mentioned to have a fishing spot in homes with water. Or perhaps an alchemy water spot that refreshes once a day. All those kinds of things would enhance housing imo and give more of reason to have homes, decorate them and go to them on a regular basis.

Regarding the high price, I do feel they should separate the functionality (banker, merchant, deconstructor, etc.) and the appearance (Alfiq, Blackfeather, factotum, etc.). Once one has purchased the Alfiq banker for instance, the Blackfeather, factotum, etc. appearances should be priced as skins for the banker functionality already owned. With the current pricing, I imagine many players will never purchase different appearances of the same assistant type. Even when discounted to 3750 Crowns it feels far too much to ask for nothing more than a different skin, to me personally.
