[Housing] WHY are the Sunport Interior Structural Furnishings SO BAD?

Many of us are running daily quests from Sunport for the new structural furnishings. Having acquired the Sunport Wall, Interior (blue) and the Sunport Doorway, Interior (purple), I've tried to put them next to one another and am extremely disappointed to find that their design doesn't allow them to be used next to one another!?!

• They have a different pattern for the woodwork section,
• the bricks of the wall don't line up,
• they are even different thicknesses!?!

Could someone please explain what on earth was the thinking here?

This is TERRIBLE design. The whole point of these furnishings is that they should be able to be used together.

Why? Just, WHY?

zos has almost always been terrible about this - most years we get an incomplete jumble of structural items that don't fit well with each other or with existing houses. Some years recently have been better - sad to see they've taken a step back again with the sunport stuff.

Wait until you try to put a Colovian Doorway, Stone next to a Colovian Wall, Flat Stone.

They don't look seamless at all.
It looks almost like a different texture because the Colovian Wall, Flat Stone has so much more plaster and is lighter in color.

ESO should have Twitch streams where Gina tries making a simple log cabin or wooden cottage from scratch.

It must have a roof and large windows we can see out through.

Then devs will understand why players need more than 700 item limit. It's because we have to mishmash walls, create our own open-air windows, and... roofs. Let's not get started on how painful it is to put together a roof without proper roof corner pieces, etc.

This thread exists from a couple of weeks ago....

The mismatching is not a new issue and considering our already limited spaces having to add extra items to make things look even half decent truly sucks!! :(
    When people say to me........
"You're going to regret that in the morning"
I sleep until midday cos I'm a problem solver!

Unfortunately, the windows are a big disappointment as well. The frame is just way too deep and thick to place the windows on an existing wall. You can‘t even hide that with a noble Alinor Curtain.

Add a pillar on the seem and it will probably be unnoticeable. I know that may not be what you want but it's your best option. The high isle one would probably look nice but if you need cheap I always keep a stack of the Elsweyr wood beams for stuff like this.

I would love to see Gina build a house on a Twitch stream! 😂

It's Leyawiin structures all over again. Barely got any structure pieces for it, and the Wainscoted wall, the one with stucco and wooden framing, doesn't match any of the Leyawiin houses. The stucco colour matches Water's Edge but the wood is is a different colour. The wood colour matches Sweetwater though, but there the stucco colour is wrong.
We also didn't get any of the lovely painted walls or bricks.
[Lie] Of course! I don't even worship Daedra!

Some pieces aren't designed to be seamless. I always pay attention how devs build the enviroment. Most of the times, they use some collumns in between, and you will never see a long stretch of a wall, like you are trying to do, putting together two walls. I am not saying to stop building how you want, I am just pointing to how the assets are used in the game. I wish they would be seamless too. Of course, the devs have all the assets at their dispossal, we don't.

As a player who waited 7 years to place doors in the Alinor manor, I am pleased with those furnishings
