Is this new with console add-ons: it automatically installs your own released add-ons?

Yesterday, I release a new add-on for consoles. After releasing it, I wanted to install it my PS5 version of Elder Scrolls Online. When I go to the browse add-ons section and found the add-on, I noticed it was already being installed without me having to start the installation. Is this something new with Update 47 for consoles add-ons? Never saw it with any of my other add-ons (all released before update 47). Not that it is a problem, just wondering about it.

Apparently all addons that you have in your Library on the mods.bethesda page will automatically install. Players are getting disgruntled when addons they'd uninstalled automatically reinstall next time the fire up the game. Because they're automatically being populated into their Library when they aren't even aware the website exists in the first place.

Ah, okay. Thanks. Don't mind it, but now I at least know why that happened.

The page is just showing all available addons for console afaik, so you can browse them without having to do that ingame in the console addon browser.

I think you can mark addons on that website too to be your favorites or similar so you can easily find them in the ingame console addon browser too.

You can indeed Favourite an add-on via the Bethesda.net site, which doesn't affect your installed add-ons. However, I have yet to find a way to view favourites within the game client (XBox).

You should also be able to "unsubscribe" an add-on via the web site, which is useful if you need to remove something without launching the game. Haven't tried that yet, though.
