Console Add-On: UnknownFilter

( I am not the mod Author, I am only demonstrating the use of the Add-On ).

UnknownFilter Add-On is now working. Video guide on how to use and avoid UI Errors.

“Adds a new filter to the Guild Store that only shows items the current character has not yet learned (e.g., recipes, style pages, furnishing plans). Perfect for collectors, crafters, and anyone who wants to focus on learning new things.”

Thanks for this post and the video.

I'm really looking forward to this add-on. Got the save error right away, though.

But I'm running 15 add-ons, including Lazy writ crafter and fancy action bar (I list those because they're large, not because they're prone to giving the error. They're not.)

I haven't tried it with a minimum add-on load, like you did in the video.

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, I didnt have the time then to do more Add-On setup testing so in the demo I ran a minimum of Minimap + TSC pricechecker + Unknownfilter.

As the Save Error bug remains unfixed, I’ve found it helpful to have different Add-On setups on different characters, or to enable focused setups specific to content. For example, Guild Trader add-ons active when doing that activity alone and none else, or switching to Dungeon/Trial add-ons enabled for that content and disable all other Map & Guild Trader add-ons (Votan’s Minimap I leave enabled as it works well with everything).

It’s Sunday and my tests of these combinations didn’t trigger the Save Error. You’ll have to check which (in your setup of 15) are not mentioned below, maybe they are a cause of it.

I like this add-on, it's very handy, but the filter only lists unknown items properly if I set the price tab from "most expensive to cheapest". I'd like to see this fixed.

That's not quite accurate, but is a very useful workaround that hadn't occurred to me Thanks!
If you watch the video, it explains why it seems like it only works that way.

If you do a search, and nothing appears on the first page of the search, because you know everything that is cheap, it won't show the next page. So you need to figure out where to set your bottom price filter to get it to show stuff.

Sorting from most expensive will also fix it, as you've found.
