"Whip It Knight" - My 1H&S Stamina Dragonknight Damage Dealer Build

Thanks to both Scribing and Subclassing, my for fun One Handed & Shield StamKnight build has evolved well past what I originally envisioned of it. Now I think it's incredibly fun for both Overland PvE and Cyrodiil/Imp City PvP, and I wanted to share. Please know I'm not saying this is a Build you can take into Trials, this is strictly a setup any Solo player can use for fun while Questing or casual PvP. Best part is, no Taunts! So go ahead and take this into Normal Group Dungeons.

Stats with Max Health/Stamina Food active and a Stam Potion. Your Critical Damage modifier also is 58%. (The extra 8% comes from the Fighting Finesse Champion Passive)

Race: Khajiit
So you can make use of the "Crit Kitty" playstyle.

Class: Dragonknight
Dragonknight's Ardent Flame tree is crucial to the Build. Even though this is a Stamina DK, the main Damage ability is Flame Lash.

Attributes:
Most allocated to Stamina, with a few placed into Health. This is the one part where it's really up to each individual. I had to play a balancing game between giving myself enough of Max Stamina while also having enough Max Health to take some hits. The number of points you allocate may differ, but for me I ended up with 26k Health and 33.5k Max Stamina.

Mundus: The Thief
As with any Crit Kitty build, gotta get Crit Chance up there around or past 50%.

Scribed Abilities: Shield Throw
This is the other crucial part to the build. Shield Throw benefits from the One Hand & Shield weapon tree passives. You'll want to scribe it with Multi Target and most importantly, Off Balance. When you cast Shield Throw at a Mob, it immediately sets them Off Balance, which will then trigger Flame Lash's more powerful Alternate attack that also heals you. Using Shield Throw's Off Balance Affix means you can immediately start fights with Flame Lash triggered on demand. You also need to equip the Exploiter Champion Bonus for even more damage done to Off Balance targets.

Subclassing: Assassination
I've Subclassed Earthen Heart out for Assassination, so that we can make use of it's benefits to Critical Damage as well as placing Killer's Blade on the bar for that powerful Melee Execute.

Mythic: Oakensoul
This is also a One Bar Build, just to make things easier for the user.

Skill Bar: Flame Lash - Killer's Blade - Shield Throw - Noxious Breath - Resolving Vigor | [Dawnbreaker of Smiting]

Flame Lash, specifically it's Off Balance Proc is your main source of damage. Just try not to over use it, as this is still a Stamina Build, your Max Magic is finite. Noxious Breath is also a really good source of Direct and Damage over Time, as well as our source of Major Breach. I've still placed Resolving Vigor on the bar for an on demand self heal whenever we're in between Flame Lash procs, and finally Dawnbreaker for the extra Weapon Damage from the Fighter's Guild passive, though really you can use whatever Ult you want. Incap, Take Flight etc. Incapacitating Strike would actually grant you a little bit more Critical Chance, and be usable more often.

Gear Sets: 5pc Hundings Rage, 5pc Order's Wrath, 1pc Balorg's , 1pc Oakensoul

My build used to include Knight Errant, because of the extra 450 Wep Dmg to your 1H&S abilities, and the old setup used Puncture and Shield Bash, but with taking those out the set became pointless and replaced it with Order's Wrath, in order to lean more into the Crit Kitty playstyle. 1pc Balorg's just for the extra Weapon Damage, this is for shoulders and can be considered a flex slot for whichever Monster set 1pc bonus you want, and Oakensoul, to make this a one bar Build with all those Buffs. You could truly make this a Crit Kitty by swapping Hundings for something like Leviathan, or Briarheart, but your Weapon Damage may suffer.

Gear Layout:
Head: Infused, Heavy
Chest: Infused, Heavy
Shoulders: Divines, Medium
Hands: Divines, Medium
Legs: Infused, Medium
Feet: Divines, Medium
Necklace: Infused with Weapon Power Enchant
Ring: Bloodthirsty with Weapon Power Enchant

All Stamina glyphs on the body pieces, including the Shield.

    Noxious gives Major Breach. That 6k-ish is enough to get by easy.

    But, upon thinking about it more, a simple fix would be swapping out the Balorgh shoulder with something like Valkyn Skoria.

    Weapon Dmg only drops to 5218 but Penetration increases to 2135, plus Major Breach makes it a combined 8,083 pen.

    I guess id call that a good tradeoff.

    Right you are. When SOLO, penetration is the most important damage stat.
    You won't notice it much on trash mobs, but Bosses will be a lot easier if you can punch through the 18200 Armor value.
