BG: MMR problem

Hello.
Ok i'm doing a lot of Battleground with random 4vs4 groups
It was cool and when the level of the players is rather decent, it's really nice
But for some time now, it seems the way MMR is calculated has been changed and I find myself much more regularly with players of a very low level and in particular their PvP level.

What I mean is, for example:
- During a deathmatch, I'm the only player on my team who jumps into the arena to fight, while the other three stay on the ledge (from the start of the game), spamming arrows and staff attacks. Needless to say, 1v4 is a bit difficult to survive.
- I know the maps the devs designed are beautiful, but many players spend most of their time during capture the flag games visiting the maps, like tourists in an arena, outside the flag zones (which makes the game a losing one).
- Many players give up easily and stay at the base.

I play BG with several of my characters but the problem is that to increase MMR, you have to win games, either get kills in deathmatch, or heal in team games and score points in capture the flags etc.. Needless to say, winning games with such comrades is quite hard.

Would it be possible to change the way MMR is calculated and thus allow players to play with people of their own skill level?

It's very annoying when the skill gap is too large (in every sense).

oh It's very annoying you? xD as far as I remember, you wrote a strict message against the amnesty for those banned in PvP zones. Well, I hope you're now experiencing the full impact of being in a group with a 0 level in PvP dudes. It's time for you to understand that the only thing ZOS can make work is their ban machine. Do you think they can fix the mmr? hehehe, no, they can't. They can only ban and encourage those who love the complaint button. Enjoy the game.

I've been suffering from low-skilled players in BG for months.
I'm far from being the best player, but playing with people who haven't even mastered the basics is absolutely not enjoyable for any veteran player.
Whether it's teaming up with them or facing them, because facing people you one-shot is honestly not fun.

Seeing that the players opposite leave the bg before the end of the game, it does not give a very pleasant feeling, I tell myself that this game has a problem and that is why I posted this thread

MMR is meaningless when there are only 16 players queueing for a BG.

Well, I'm a player who ranks at the top of the list without exploiting any vulnerabilities to gain points. Can you imagine how much it annoys me? However, despite being in the same situation, you didn't support the amnesty for PvP players. I don't feel sorry for you. Learn to play with noobs in your team.

No amount of MMR calculation will help. Even if you reset it, it won't help. At least the current development team is incapable of doing anything correctly related to mathematics or logic.

The easiest way is to reduce the number of team members to 3x3 or 2x2, so that you can kill the opposing team single-handedly.

I think teams should be balanced this way: sum of players mmr should be +- equal in both groups. It will be more chaotic but fun, everyone vs everyone.

well i mean crit healing in general, and spawn zone archer. well some time when enemes stay on spawn zone and try hit from that i healling team with target heall. but that happents 1 on 10-15 match

I think zos dev team thinks at about the same level.

we have a general concept of "correct" builds for PvP. This is 2 sets + mythic + monster set/arena weapon. And all variations of such builds. We have values for the acceptable level of HP for PvP 25-35k. We also have values for weapon damage 4200-5000 before all bufs and resistances 25-35k with buffs. Anything that doesn't fit into these parameters can be sent to kindergarten. After that, you can use statistics on wins, losses, and K/D

The Resetting MMR, ontop of the MMR system not being based on individual skill is a huge pain.

More than half the BG lobbies I have to sit out and not play because I am too far beyond the players I have been matched with. I can only go 50+ kills per match so many times before its boring. I got to the point where I stopped wasting gold food and poisons because its not worth it anymore.

The fun part is that when you find yourself with useless players who completely ruin any hope of victory (for example, like here, two archer players spamming precision shots from the base... when you need to capture a flag, not possible 2vs4 even if you do not die), when players from opponent team understand what's going on, BG turns into an RP zone.

@zos I don't know if you are actually aware of the issues in BG but really, the game needs to be fixed asap...
